“A Grand Park-Quintissential New England”
Reviewed October 27, 2013

One of the great city parks anywhere, anytime of the year. A beautiful layout at the beginning of Back Bay. Swanboats in summer, but always the beautifully shaped kandscape with iconic center bridge, Washington's statue on horseback and the duck family near the Beacon St/Charles St entrance, sometimes decked out with the Red Sox etc regalia if they are in the Series, etc. you will keep snapping pictures. The turning leaves of autumn, snowscapes in winter, and the blossoms of spring? Quintissential New England!

“Immaculate gardens I would pay to visit.”
Reviewed October 27, 2013

As above. Difficult not to go overboard with comments about these gardens which are free public open spaces. They are beautifully landscaped with ponds, bridges, fountains, and statues and grass golfers would kill for. They are designed to show off their features at the best angles and are also very peaceful.Could ramble on but highly recommended if visiting this lovely city.

“Beautiful Park”
Reviewed October 26, 2013 via mobile

Visitors to Boston should go to the Public Garden, particularly in the Spring and Summer, when the Swan Boats are running. This is a lovely, quiet park in the middle of a busy city. For those who like to walk, it is an easy stroll from the downtown and Beacon Hill areas to Back Bay by cutting through the Common and the Public Garden.

“green space in the middle of the city”
Reviewed October 26, 2013

Nicely kept. Loved the red sox shirts and beards on the ducks. Friendly people. Someone stopped and offered to take our picture together.
