This remains the "center" of Boston, and with its beautiful trees (including amazing weeping willows), flowers, and central pond, it is a terrific place to walk, sit, reflect, and take a ride on the Swan Boats in the summer. It is convenient, with a subway (T) stop right at the corner and directly across from the Boston Commons (where there are bathrooms and a food vendor). If you haven't been to Boston before, this is the one place not to miss.

Open spaces, statues, benches, lakes, flowers and little squirrels running about. A welcome rest break after doing the Freedom Trail Walk.

This is a great place to visit, lots of history, pretty, fun, and a great place to relax. It was nice to see people just sitting on the grass and chilling out.
