Owner description: At the Boston Tea Party Ships and Museum, you can be a part of the famous event that forever changed the course of American History! It’s more than a stroll through historic artifacts – it’s an adventure! Located on the Congress Street Bridge in Boston, Massachusetts, this floating museum is unlike anything you’ve ever experienced before. Live actors, high-tech, interactive exhibits, authentically restored tea ships and the stirring, multi-sensory documentary “Let it Begin Here,” are just a taste of what you’ll see, hear and feel. Meet the colonists, explore the ships and dump tea overboard just as the Sons of Liberty did on that fateful night of December 16, 1773. Stop in at Abigail’s Tea Room for teatime and visit the Gift Shop for special souvenirs. It’s educational, entertaining and enlightening — an experience not to be missed by adults and children of all ages. Your tour of the Boston Tea Party Ships and Museum will last approximately one hour and will take you through a variety of displays that are interconnected. The tour is designed to give you the opportunity to participate, explore and learn about the people, events and consequences that led up to the American Revolution in the order in which they actually occurred more than 230 years ago.

“A must Do Attraction if you Come to Boston”
Reviewed March 20, 2013

If you love history and great entertainment, then this is the place for you to go! It last about an hour long, but totally worth it. The actors were fantastic and the whole tour of the boat and seeing artifacts from the infamous Boston Tea party was a pretty epic moment for me personally. It is great for families, solo, couples any age group really. The gift shop is full of great take home souveniers as well. The education on this event was insightful and I learn more about the event than I knew before. This is a must do if you come to Boston. Plus you get to go on ship and throw these boxes over the boat into the water like they did back several hundred years ago. That was pretty neat too. Enjoy!

“a little too expensive for my wallet”
Reviewed March 20, 2013

not too many places people can throw tea into boston harbor, But I thought the NEW exhibit was a little too costly for a family of 4 and our guests. Adults are 25.00!! and kids are $15.00! while you can save some (2.50 if you buy online) i really didn't think it was worth all that money. save your Money and use that for a duck tour or ticket to the children's museum next door!

We had visited this place and the only thing I can say is "Wao". The way the entire program is organized is just fantastic. The laser show and also the portraits are getting life is just too good. Fantastic place and is a must show for everyone who is visiting Boston.

“The Highlight of Boston History”
Reviewed March 15, 2013

This is a definite MUST SEE. A great experience and a real way to get immersed into the history of the revolutionary movement in USA. It is not just a way of walking through a museum, but actors are playing out the parts well. Awesome and unexpected turns.

Highly Recommend.
