Owner description: This Italian neighborhood, Boston's oldest, is known for its wonderful restaurants and historic sights. Walk the cobblestone streets to take in the architecture and aromas of delicious food, and visit Paul Revere's house and the Old North Church while you're in the neighborhood.

It's a very nice place, where you can find a lot of italian restaurants and where the atmosphere is very romantic. It seems to be in Europe when you are here. It must be visited.

And wow, you feel like you are in Italy, except half the people speak English. Great place to stroll. And best of all, it is free!

We wandered thru here as part of the Freedom Trail.
A Festival was being celebrated so some roads were blocked off and stalls for kids as well as terrific Italian food stalls were set up. Great atmosphere.
We had a wonderful cup of coffee at Paradiso.
Beautiful buildings and cobbled streets to walk and soak up the atmosphere.

An historic and cultural experience. From historic buildings to old cemeteries and fascinating history to great energy with people on the streets, festivals and amazing restaurants and bakeries this is an area not to be missed in Boston. It is a step back into time!
