Owner description: Relive the Kennedy era in this dynamic combination museum and library, where your visit starts with a short film and then leaves you on your own to explore a series of fascinating exhibits, including the Kennedy-Nixon debate, the Cuban Missile Crisis, the space program, 1960s campaign paraphernalia and displays about Jacqueline and other Kennedy family members. The striking, I.M. Pei-designed building overlooks the water and the Boston skyline.

Presidential libraries are wonderful places to relive the life and times of past national chief executives. If you spend time reading and absorbing the information you can better understand what it was like back when. The JFK Library keeps Camelot alive.

Loved It = very informative. Lots of wonderful memorabilia. A definite must see in my books.

We took the subway and, as per their website, there was a bus shuttle that would take you directly from the subway station to the museum. I thought that was a great feature.

The library is in a beautiful setting. The movie and old news videos really helped put JFK in historical perspective.

While visiting Boston we made a stop at the Library. It was a very nice morning. The overall atmosphere was perfect for a study of Kennedy. We have been to other presidential library museums and have found them more comprehensive. However, I finally realized that this man only had 1,000 days. Details of the Cuban Missle crisis, PT 109 and the short films were very interesting and informative. Well worth the $ and time.

I was 12 years old during the Cuban missile crisis and what I learned from this tour was fascinating. The place is loaded with info, actual documents, short videos and items from Kennedy from childhood through his death.
The PT109 saga was really well done as we're the congressional years. The Nikita Kruschev stuff was really cool and his fascination and mooning over Jackie Kennedy puts a little humanity on a man who was always portrayed as a megalomaniac monster by the press.
Great location and visit.
