Owner description: This striking I.M. Pei edifice, famous for its beauty and infamous for falling glass panes, is Boston's tallest building. After terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, the popular 60th-floor observatory was permanently closed due to security concerns.

“Should be rated higher!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 12, 2013

Tallest building in Boston. Great views of ocean, airport, city and you can look right into Fenway Park. You can see New Hampshire Mountains and Cape Cod on a clear day.
Only downside is it is totally indoors. Some might find that a plus who are afraid of heights.
Dont miss it!

“Spectacular view”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 3, 2013

Our friend works in the building and was able to take us up to his office for a spectacular view of the city. It was our second time going up and really provides a breathtaking view of the city - Beacon Hill, Commonwealth Avenue, Boston Common, Charles River, and so on. Get some great photos while you can.

“Great Views”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 25, 2013

The first time I went to the Hancock Tower was 31 years ago and have revisited several times since. There are excellent 360 degree views of the city. For a change I did the Prudential Building this time. Good but not as high.

“Looking good”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 30, 2013

Here is a good way to get an overview of the city of Boston. Informative display explain the history and life of the city. Pick a clear day and it is great. Not crowded when we were there and time is unlimited.

“GREAT VIEWS OF BOSTON”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 11, 2013

New York had the Twins and now the Empire Building, Niagara Falls has the Skylon Tower, Toronto has also it's own and Boston has John Hancock Observatory. Don't miss it if you are in Boston even if you find it overated or you have to be in a queue. It is worthwhile once in your life.
You will not regret for this.
