I just had lunch at 606 Congress and it was good. It is a hotel restaurant, so it was large and trendy, but comfortable. The service was a bit spotty at times ...kind of too intrusive and then AWOL for a while. The lunch special was a choice of salad or soup with an entree, or entree and dessert for about $16. I had a nice salad and a hanger steak sandwich on baguette.. It was very good. My companion has a Kobe Beef hot dog for around the same price and it seems to have been,,, well, an expensive hoy dog. It was clean, attractive place with a devent expensive hotel meni and open kiychen. Not bad at all if you can afford it..

Beautiful restaurant and the food plating is gorgeous. We went for lunch and enjoyed the Mixed Greens Salad, the Pea Soup, the Grilled Cheese with Ham, and the Tomato Soup. All of the food was pretty good, but in the end, not such a great value price-wise.

I have just attended a conference here and while that was fantatsic the hotel was not so great. Hotel staff during the 2 days were thin on the ground - not sure if this was a function of cost cutting by conference organisers or just a hotel issue. There is not enough availability for food, eg quick snacks for lunch during a 750 attendee conference, the stage area of the conference room was old and tired looking, the podium had bit chipped out of it - so the overall impression was one of old and tired.

Only looked at the menu and went for dessert. IMO the food is over the top and really did not appeal to me. Service was fine, but I thought that there should be some lighter options, with less fancy ingredients.
