From the moment we checked in for our reservation, we were not welcomed appropriately. We then waited 25 min before we were seated - after we were told it would just be a few minutes. It would have been helpful to have been informed of the correct additional wait time, we could have planned accordingly. Once we were seated, we were sat right by the kitchen/prep station ie all the banging dishes, not conducive to conversation. We actually ended up leaving, and went to Lucca instead - had the BEST time.

Terrific restaurant, from a Saturday afternoon drink in the cozy, bar to a full on dinner in the dining room, it is a great restaurant. The service is great, very attentive and professional, even in accomodating a large party. The drinks and wine service is excellent as well. The food is the real star. I saw people swooning over the pasta with truffles, in bliss over the seafood stew, and in ecstacy over the desserts. Strongly Reccomended!!

You can't really go wrong in the North End, but when a friend from Boston tells you this is the best place, you have to listen! And she was 100% right! The service was fantastic, meals were ridiculously perfect-from the antipasti app, the mouth watering mushroom ravioli & the tiramisu-we had an amazing meal! Great wine & great value. We will definitely be back & will bring friends with us!

Recently in Boston had this restaurant recommended and it did not disappoint. Service was very good and food was excellent. Really surprised by some of the reviews as could not fault the food or service at all. Great atmosphere on a Saturday night with not an empty table in sight which is always a good sign.

I went to this restaurant with a couple friends that I studied abroad in Rome, Italy with, so you know it must be good! They live in the North End and it is one of their favorites.

I thought they had a great wine selection, by the glass or bottle, that was pretty reasonably priced ($9-12 per glass). I had a Barbera that was really nice.

The food was delicious, we got a range of things, some on the menu and some on the specials that were all really tasty. I had the Tortelli di Zucca (basically ravioli with pumpkin inside), which was delicious!

Our waiter was very nice and attentive but not overly so. Very nice place, would recommend dressy casual attire, although you wouldn't feel weird in jeans and a t-shirt.
