Great location and fun to sit at the bar and watch the scene. Food is pub food and fine and the atmosphere and staff are great.

We didn't even know this place existed, but we were looking for a pub, and this is what we found. They serve a special brew made by Sam Adams Brewery just for their pub called "Beantown Ale." It's excellent. I loved it.

When we were there, we were treated to a unique Boston experience as quite a crowd was there to watch the Sox play. We also enjoyed the food. We had the Cheese Fries, and they were nicely done. They also have a burger that was entered in a "best burger" competition, but we did not try that.

I loved the friendliness, and local feel of this pub, and especially that it is right down the street from the Parker House, and right across the street from the Granary Burial Ground. It's just a half block away from Boston Common, and right on the Freedom Trail. Standing out front, you can see the Old North Church, and the Church where William Lloyd Garrison gave his first speech on the abolition of slavery. Great history, great food, and great beer.

Loved this pub, as was next door to our hotel. We ate here a couple of times.
They let under age people in though as long as they arent drinking, found this annoying because they sit there with no drinks shouting.
Food was ok, basically american pub food.
Bar staff/waitresses were nice though.
good location and food was good.
has pool tables, which are super busy on a saturday night so we never got to play.

If you're looking for a fancy upscale dinner, look elsewhere. If you're under 40 and looking for a casual place to relax with your friends in the middle of downtown, this is it. 90s alt-rock and contemporary pop and rock are heavy in the music rotation, a reflection of the usual 35-and-under crowd. They have a good variety of bar food done right. The fried shrimp and calamari come in shareable portions, the steak tips and chowder are amazing for a bar, and they've got all your favorites on tap--not just Bud Light. They have plenty of pool tables and tons of bar and table seating. If it looks packed, just keep heading to the back--the place is larger than it appears. One of my favorite places for after-work drinks, especially if there is a game on TV.

Got in late & was looking for a place to eat. The food was not great & the place really just reeks of beer. Loads of great places nearby so I'd definitely give it a pass next time.
