Beautiful place, friendly staff, good food although food and beverage is very pricey. A wonderful experience. They definitely make you feel like they appreciate your business. My only complaint is that it is very expensive to stay and eat there.

I love this place. Ivisit every other year for a Supplier Diversity tradeshow. It is also a wonderful place for a personal visit. The scenery is nothing but beautiful. Oh, yes and FAMILY vacations would be a great idea for this venue. It's just like being at home!

I stayed at the Grove Park for a conference, and was amazed at the view and amenities. The mountain range can be seen from many of the rooms, which is awesome to see every morning. The fitness center has a full gym with a cardio room and weight room so I didn't have to miss my workouts while traveling. Food is expensive- plan on spending $10+ if you get breakfast at the spa café. Marketplace coffee shop has quick breakfast options at reasonable prices. Hotel itself is very nice, gorgeous stone fireplaces. I recommend at least staying a couple nights if you can!

We have stayed at the Grove Park many times and enjoyed ourselves. It is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the beauty that is all around. The Spa is spectacular and I would encourage anyone to get one treatment, at the very least. The dinning experience is great with so many options, from the Blue Ridge Dining room to the sports bar "Edisons". The staff is very attentive and helpful.

Excellent hotel with wonderful amenities and restaurants. Beautiful golf course but the greens are difficult. Must use the spa but be ready to spend the day there! Food is delicious and the service was outstanding. Hotel itself is an historic monument. I recommend it but it is very expensive.

The Grove Park Inn is a one-of-a-kind hotel because of the old-world charm and warm, friendly service. The hotel design takes full advantage of the breath-taking views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. We have watched amazing sunsets from the dining rooms, bars, and outdoor seating areas. Always stunning! This is a great romantic getaway for couples. We're already planning our next trip.

If you want a posh hotel and the "spa atmosprere" This place may be for you. However, It is not "Charming enough for the price paid. Food was great at the susnset Teracce so I highly recommend that. Otherwise eat there visit the grounds for a few minutes. That is all it will take and stay in town. PS Biltmore was great!!!

We appreciate you taking the time to let us as well as your fellow travelers know your feelings towards the experience you recently had with us. We are sorry you felt the offering you received was overpriced and lacked the charm needed to justify the price. We are however glad that you enjoyed your time in Asheville as well as your experience at the Sunset Terrace and would like to thank you for that recommendation.
