“Wow! What a Find!!!!!!!!!!!”
Reviewed October 7, 2009

This past Labor Day Weekend, our daughter married the man of her dreams. And we found the most romantic and splendid of Inn's to house our immediate family and our new relatives as well.
The Inn itself is just beautiful! Perfectly manicured, outside and in. The staff is so accomodating and helpful to our every need.
But the best part is the couple who are the Innkeepers. Chris and Jim are so welcoming and interested in making each person's stay personal and inviting.
We truly enjoyed every minute. Starting from the gourmet breakfast to the last sip of wine in the early evening.
It is located in an area walking distance to the middle of town where the action is, but surrounded by vintage homes of an earlier historic time in Asheville.
It truly was a perfect find and fit for a wonderful and memorable weekend.

My wife and I celebrated our 7th anniversary at the Beaufort Inn. This was the 3rd time we'd stayed with Jim and Chris over the past 2 years and we're confirmed fans of theirs. The room (Oak Terrace) was spacious yet cosy with the enormous whirlpool bath. But it's the friendly service and astonishingly good breakfasts that set this B&B apart. Chris even had a record of the breakfasts we'd had on previous visits to make sure she kept it novel and new for us. She & Jim are the consummate hosts - if you decide to visit, make sure you're there for the wine and welcome on Friday evenings. Sitting out in a rocking chair on the porch with a glass and good conversation helps the stresses of the week drain away. The Beaufort Inn is a short walk from downtown Asheville: Great restaurants, Art Galleries and stores. And if you're Brits like us, make sure you visit Biltmore House - it gives our stately homes a run for their money. But of course, take time to savor the friendless of Beaufort House ... You won't regret it.

My husband and I recently celebrated our 20th anniversary on a trip to Asheville, NC and stayed in the Beaufort House Inn for three nights. We enjoyed the beauty of the surrounding landscaping (hope to use the gardening tips from the Muths), we enjoyed sipping coffee every morning while sitting on the inviting porch that lures you in for a long stay ,and we enjoyed that the stay helped us relax and forget the hustle and bustle of our busy lives. The owners really enjoy what they do! The breakfast was wonderful every morning. It definitely was a great place for us to just enjoy each other and long overdue conversation in a beautiful surrounding!

This is an amazing bed and breakfast. Beautiful, clean and comfortable rooms. The staff is so friendly, knowledgable and helpful. The breakfasts are amazing, interesting feasts. The grounds are awesome with porch rockers, swings and hammocks for viewing the gardens and water foutains. Close to downtown, but still in a nice homey nighborhood. Would definately stay there again. Asheville is an amazing place with something for everyone. Close to hikes, shopping and good food. Biltmore estates is nearby and amazing sight to see.

Wonderful bed and breakfast a short 5 minutes from wonderful restaurants and shops in Asheville. We have stayed in the cootages (Willow cottage) which is separated from the main house and provides plenty of privacy. With the sunken tub and private porch it is as romantic as it comes. The hosts Jim and Christina make you feel like family and the food is wonderful. We will be planning our third trip to this wonderful bed and breakfast. Everytime we go its like going home.

There are a variety of rooms, that are well appointed for any type of guest. The home is so charming, very roomy, and spacious. You feel right at home, and can mix with other guests. Large front porch, within a quiet area, yet very close to town and the Biltmore Estate. The staff makes a gourmet breakfast everyday. I would check the night before as to what will be served the next morning, it may not fit your dietary needs.

Talk about romantic! We only got to stay one night but it was so fabulous! Our room was so cozy and it even had a fireplace and the bathroom had a jacuzzi for two! The house was so warm and inviting and I felt so welcomed by the staff! On our arrival we had complimentary wine and in the morning we had a breakfast to die for! The yogurt with fruit and granola was so delicious and was followed up with a delicious peach crepe! The kitchen was open to the guests so we could help ourselves to ice and bottled water. This bed and breakfast had standards way beyond our expectations! The owners Chris and Jim are such a delight they really put the whole experience right over the top! Stay here! You will not be disappointed!
