I travelled for a weekend get away with my brother and his wife from Baltimore to Asheville. The 8 hour drive was worth the welcome we received; the personal hospitality welcome and the comfortable accommodations welcome. Each morning the day started with some wonderfully creative and tasty breakfasts from spicy pumpkin yogurt sprinkled with pecans to scrambled eggs sitting high in a lightly crusted pastry crown. I felt really pampered and felt like this was all done for me. I realized however, in looking around that everyone was treated this way. There is an amazing attention given to the taste and presentation of the morning wake-up food.
The Beaufort House itself embraces you with its warmth which is an extension of the owners' attitude towards their guests.
Even though it was my first time in Asheville and the Beaufort House, it felt like home. I know I will be there againMore
