My husband and I just returned from our stay at The Reynolds Mansion. I must say that we were truly inspired by the manifestation of a man's lifetime dream. From the minute we arrived we felt as though we were welcomed into Billy and Michael's house. The history of the mansion and the pride and passion that the current owners have for it is like nothing we have ever experienced before.
We stayed in a room behind the mansion and is was perfect with a fireplace we had a log burning in whenever we were there and a jacuzzi bath that we soaked in after a long day of catching the sights in Asheville. Billy took us on a tour of the mansion and told us great stories of each room we went into. In the mornings at breakfast we were so impressed with the staff's attention to details and the little things that they remembered from day to day. Breakfast everyday is served plated to each guest and every meal was so yummy you could taste the care that went into making it. We left feeling like we had made friends with Billy and Michael and we will definitely keep in touch to see the future of the mansion!
If you stay at the mansion be sure to take Billy's suggestions for places to eat and places to see, it was great to have someone who was so concerned to make sure we had a great stay. Thank you Billy, Michael and staff for an awesome visit!

My Mom and I have been to The Reynolds Mansion twice now, and plan on going back . This is the most fascinating home with such a rich history. Billy and Mike know the history as if they lived it.
The rooms are so inviting and the beds are super comfortable. The food is delicious and the service is first class. Billy and Mike truly know what hospitality means. They are the best innkeepers. It is like leaving family when you depart. It is also true that you make future reservations before you leave.

This place is a "wow"! From the minute we drove up to the front door, we knew this was someplace special. The love and excitement with which this grand old gem has been restored by Billy and Michael is palpable. We were pampered, extremely well fed and left feeling like we had just visited old friends.

We stayed at the Reynolds Mansion for 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our stay. My husband and I have stayed at many B&B's throughout the world and this is one of the best. Billy and Mike really made us feel at home. Theirs was Southern hospitality at it's best. I've never felt so comfortable in a B&B before.
They have done a phenomenal job of decorating the Mansion using a perfect mix of the Reynolds Mansion history and their own family history. The house was almost like a museum with so many different collections, artwork, photographs, and more. Every object has a story to go with it that Billy or Mike will readily share.
The breakfasts were unbelievable. Quite tasty and so filling that we skipped lunch. Billy kept all the breakfast guests entertained with his amusing and interesting stories while keeping all of our coffee cups full. He even gave us his "secret" for keeping all his linens so white!
The entire mansion was spotless and all the rooms were fairly large. The rooms that were not occupied were open for us to tour and it was hard to decide which one we liked the best.
Wrap around porches on the first and second floors have a wonderful view of the mountains. A perfect place to relax and watch the sunset with a glass of wine after a tiring day at the Biltmore House. Billy and Mike live at the Mansion and they make themselves readily available to help with dinner plans, things to do in the area, or just visiting with their guests.
We had a wonderful stay and the only complaint we have is that our stay wasn't long enough. We will definitely go back!

Get yourself to Asheville, NC and stay at the most peaceful B&B you'll ever find.

The first morning I woke up and realized I had experienced the most peaceful sleep I have had for as long as I could remember. The whole environment just evokes home and comfort.

After a wonderful breakfast, I went out back to the porch. And sitting on the rocking chair in the cool morning looking around at the beautiful mountains above, I just smiled thinking how lucky I was to be in that place at that moment.

We were treated like royalty at this beautiful Inn. Lots of fun things to do in the area. I highly recommend taking some time out of your busy life and spending some time here. Thanks Billy and Michael for everything!

It's hard to say which feature is best: friendliness, hospitality, accomodations, location. We stayed in The Cottage, so we didn't eat in the dining room. It was good for our family to have a place to gather and "eat in" when we wanted to; drink coffee and be lazy in the mornings, watch TV at night. The Mansion is so close to town that going out to eat and shop and explore was no problem at all. The sunsets over the mountain range were such a treat. Bill and Mike could not have been more welcoming and fun to be with. We're lucky to have found The Mansion and look forward to returning.

We stayed 4 nights for a "sisters weekend"...enjoyed every bit of it. It felt like we were staying at grandma's house (beautiful, warm, inviting, antiques, fresh cookies every day!). We enjoyed sitting on the porch with a cup of coffee (from the 24 hour coffee bar) and the absolutely delicious breakfasts. The innkeepers wer VERY helpful with any questions we had and filling us in on the history of the area and Biltmore. Great location. Loved everything about it!
