“Wonderful Thanksgiving vacation in this adorable inn!”
Reviewed November 30, 2009

We loved our honeymoon/Thanksgiving stay at Cedar Crest! The service was very very friendly and prompt. We had three breakfasts and Thanksgiving brunch. All the food was wonderful. The room was cozy and clean. The Inn is located very close to the Biltmore and downtown Asheville which was very convenient! We will most certainly be staying here again as soon as possible, and hopefully bring more people with us!

Beautiful house and setting; great location between Biltmore and downtown Asheville; clean rooms; great breakfast and free desserts. We were very impressed and glad we stayed at Cedar Crest. Book your stay with confidence!

A friend and I had the opportunity to take a short vacation for a little R& R. Cedar Crest Inn was recommended by a friend, and we were extremely pleased. Our stay was wonderful and the staff was friendly and helpful. Make sure you rise for breakfast you will not want to miss it. The room was beautiful and comfortable. We hope to return in the spring for a longer visit.

My Husband and I stayed for three days at the Cedar Crest Inn. Each day the breakfasts were wonderful and the staff went out of thier way to help us make our stay more special. Not to mention, our room was fantastic. We stayed in the Serenity Suite. It was quite, cozy and very relaxing. We will surely be back to this gem.

Paid for two nights. Stayed only one. Kept awake by ambulance sirens and helicopters arriving at nearby hospital. Booked 2 bedroom cottage which had a rank odor; hole in the living room floor and buckled floor in the bathroom. Don't be taken in by the photos.

We stayed here for two nights during our tour of Carolina and really enjoyed our stay. We were travelling with out daughter (adult) and although we all shared a room it was large enough with a huge double bed and a single bed. The bathroom was just outside the room but was for our exclusive use and closed off at night with a large curtain. This added to the uniqeness of the room

We were only originally staying for one night but stayed for two. There was no choice at breakfast but it was lovely all freshly made and plently of juice and coffee the warm bread and cakes were different.

The owner was pleasant and knowledgable of the area, we visited Biltmore House and were able to buy our tickets there at a discount as it is expensive.
I would recommend a visit you can spend all day also make sure you visit chimney rock and bat cave.

Overall a really enjoyable experience to the start of our holiday.

My wife and I booked 2 nights over the peak weekend for fall colors. We chose this B&B because of its proximity to the Biltmore Estate, downtown Asheville and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Location is its best feature. When we arrived, we were greeted by an empty lobby and no one to check us in. We had to go into the kitchen area to find someone to help us. Our room was nicely appointed with private bath, fireplace and easy chairs. We mentioned that we already had plans that evening and would miss the evening dessert. They said they would bring it to our room. When we got back, no dessert in the room. Breakfast was a better experience, having it on the extensive veranda which wraps around the exterior. Although the food was only fair, the setting was very nice. It was warm in the room, so we asked about turning down the heat. There is no individual thermostats in the rooms. The second breakfast was indoors because it had gotten colder outside. There was no place to sit because the dining room was full. We waited then sat at a table waiting for it to be cleared. It took another 15 minutes to get it cleaned and for us to be served breakfast. I had to ask for orange juice. The "innkeeper" was clearly frazzled and needed some assistance to clear and serve. The B&B is apparently owned by a corporation, so if you're looking for a relaxed conversation with the owners around the fireplace with coffee, forget it. This isn't the place. There was also some party in the room above us that was a little noisy, but fortunately it got quiet around midnight.
