“Very nice stay”

Nice nice rooms, great breakfast, good value. Very nice part of town and Valerie was helpful and informative. We got engaged over our stay and it was a nice place to celebrate the occasion. There was actual another couple that got engaged during our stay as well.

Valerie and her B&B is a gem that worth talking about and revisiting. The rooms and suites are so unique we felt we were at a friends house instead of a business. We have a small pet dog that stayed with us at the Hyde Park suite and leaving him there while we toured was easy on him as well as us. Valerie set up everything for us at the Biltmore Estate and provided more than enough information and maps to the other area attractions and dining (especially on Christmas day when most restaurants are closed). Her breakfasts were gourmet, well thought out and delicious. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom with the whirlpool, shower nozzles, towel warmer, tv and other amenities were totally unexpected. If you are going to visit Asheville, NC you won't beat this B&B.

We stayed at Abbington Green for our Honeymoon weekend and had a great experience. Valerie, the owner, was very accommodating and had our room upgraded. The lights, trees and decorations were beautiful. We stayed in the Kensingon room which was spacious and comfortable, and we definitely enjoyed the jacuzzi tub! We were a little disappointed in the breakfast, it was nice but not outstanding. Asheville is a great town for the holidays, and Abbington Green was very close to downtown and the Biltmore. The garden was very nice, even though we were there on a rainy winter weekend. We recommend Abbington Green and would definitely stay there again!

Room Tip: Loved our room with a working fireplace- was just a little tricky to work.

We just stayed at the Abbington Green last week for 3 nights and are still in awe at the excellent accommodations, service and beautiful Holiday atmosphere. This B&B was very clean and comfortable. We stayed in the Eaton Square Suite in the Carriage House. The innkeeper, Valerie, was extremely friendly and gave us good tips for shopping and restaurants; provided interesting extra historical detail and answered questions with ease. She served fantastic gourmet breakfasts, with organic products. The location was excellent--quiet residential but close to downtown and main attractions. We highly recommend this B&B!!! (And we just love our AG mugs that we purchased--very high quality, as were all the products we were provided while we were there). Review written with friend, Diane Pobst, diro.po2@aol.com.

Room Tip: We chose the Eaton Square Suite as there are 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

We had a warm welcome from our innkeeper, a beautiful room, great breakfast, and cozy fire on a cold evening. The restoration to the home was completed with great attention to detail. The amenities are first class from the bath salts and lip gloss to the chocolates by the bed. I highly recommend Abbington Green.

Outstanding experience for the entire family. Valerie and her staff provided a warm welcome and much needed suggestions regarding Asheville. The highlight of our stay was of course the incredible meals! She prepared a variety of meals made with almost entirely organic ingredients that were a treat to eyes and taste buds. With elegance, Valerie proved why Abbington Green has been so successful over the years while others have fallen short. I highly recommend you plan a stay in the future.

Room Tip: We chose the carriage house rooms -- all three were perfect for our family needs. The Eaton Square s...

Valerie and her staff made us feel absolutely relaxed and pampered in this beautiful, English-styled inn. No detail was spared in providing us with all the comforts of home. Breakfast was divine and provided a great opportunity to meet the other guests and swap stories of our adventures in Asheville. Even with beautiful sites, like the Appalachian mountains and Biltmore Estate nearby and waiting to be explored, we were quite tempted to simply while away our time in our luxurious and spacious suite or on the balcony overlooking the gardens below. I look forward to booking another stay at Abbington Green this spring!
