The Doubletree Hotel Biltmore is a comfortable hotel to stay in while still being close to the entertainment of Asheville. The staff was quick and the hotel/ rooms were clean and comfortable.

Location was great- just a few blocks to downtown - safe and nice walking. The Doubletree is almost a gem for giving you the chance to get out of the main street traffic but still be close enough to enjoy Asheville.

When we arrived we sat in the restaurant/ bar for a cocktail. The bartender was great and helped us look through the weekends upcoming events, concerts, activities etc. in the Asheville Newspaper. He was great- very professional and helpful!

We would stay here again.

Four Points Asheville Downtown was satisfactory for my last Asheville visit. The hotel is a little dated, but the room had been adequately renovated. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The pillows left a little to be desired as they included two very soft pillows and two very large, square, firm pillows - that didn't have pillow cases - on our king sized bed.

Customer service was fine. We stopped by the hotel hoping to check in early and there was a wait, which was fine, but the representative offered to give us a call when a room opened up and never did. That said, the hotel was booked during our stay. I requested a room facing the city rather than the highway and did at least get that. Our room was near the elevator, and possibly a little noisier than others. We were pleased to find free Wi-Fi in the rooms, but had to call a customer service number to successfully connect. This took about 5-10 minutes, not a big deal.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. I don't really think the room was worth its $200+/night price, but in Asheville, Four Points can get away with it. The location is awesome and Asheville is such a great, walkable city. There are only four (that I know of) hotels downtown, so sometimes you take what you can get.

You can't really go wrong with a Sheraton. The location is great - walking distance to anything downtown and the price was more than reasonable. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We ate twice in the in house restaurant (The Chop House) and the food was fab! There is a YMCA just behind the building which allows Sheraton guests in for free.
Great service and very helpful people at the front desk.

If you are catering to business clientele, your internet cannot go down. It is as simple as that. There was no Internet access during my stay. No backup plan Sheraton? Shame on you.
