This hotel was very nice, a little old but very clean and updated. It was quiet and the staff was excellent. The only bad thing I have to say about the hotel is the bed was so hard. So if you like a hard bed this is the perfect hotel for you :)

We stayed at this location because it was just out far enough from Biltmore Estates to keep the costs down (budget). The Motel was clean and the breakfast was really good. It was quiet and the staff was very kind, I do recommend this place.
The "down side" to this location is the Entrance to the Motel. You have two road merging and right at the "Merge", you have the entrance to the right side, we almost was rear-ended coming into the parking lot the first time. Be careful!
The motel looks like it was bought and low-budget renovations (paint job and new tile in bathroom), and that was it. I do recommend this if your trying to cut costs.

My wife and I spent 5 nights at this motel in mid Octorber when we were in Asheville to enjoy the fafll colors on the Blue RIdge Parkway. We returned to this motel because we had stayed here previously several years ago and enjoyed our stay. The motel is old but kept up well! The rooms were clean and comfortable, the beds great and the breakfast more than ample. THe location is great, near the Blue Ridge Parkway and several restaurants.
The motel staff was courteous and helpfull. THe prices make it a great value!

We will probably be back again!

Perfect hotel for this traveling couple. It's obvious that there has been a complete room renovation...comfortable bed, large flat-screen TV, refrigerator, in-room safe, new casegoods, sufficient lighting, hot shower. The free breakfast was the icing on the cake. Plenty of hot and cold items.

We have a king smoking room. Our bed is nice and comfy with plenty of fluffy pillows for us both. We have a comfy down comforter which I love. We have a chair on my side, a desk and chair, drawers, mini fridge and microwave, and in room safe.

The bathroom and the sink area are separate. The sink area has the clothes rod, the safe, and the sink. There is a coffee maker on the sink which means sink space is limited. The bathroom is on the small side. The bathroom contains the loo and the bath/shower. If you are sitting on the potty and someone one comes in unexpectaly, your knees may be in danger. Our shower has a handle for those who need help getting in and out of the bathtub. Or the just tired like me who have almost fallen asleep in the tub!

Rooms are on the outside. But Asheville is a safe town so you really do not have to worry about anyone bothering you. We had a first floor room which I really like being able to pull right up to my room considering I have a fiancé who has as many clothes as I do so we have plenty of luggage. We luck up and our room is very near the vending and ice machines, though none of the rooms will give you a long walk to grab a snack.

The hotel is a great location and a great alternative to the more expensive downtown locations. It is located on Tunnel Rd. which is one of the main roads in the city. But now this location is located at the opposite end of where I stayed at the Homewood Suites. About the only thing nearby is an Enterprise rent a car and gas stations. But you will need a car to pretty much get around Asheville anyway and the main section of Tunnel Rd. where most of the restaurants and stores are close by. That is less than 5 minutes away.

Downtown Asheville is only a few miles away. Our destination, The Orange Peel, is 3 miles away. The Biltmore House is about 4 miles away. You are right at the entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway. There is a Wal-Mart, Kmart, and several malls and strip miles less than 15 minutes away. You will find a movie theater less than a mile away. And you are less than 5 miles from most of the Asheville attractions.

It is easily accessible from I40 and 240. Asheville airport is about 20 minutes away.

They are AAA 2 diamond property. Please don’t let that deter you. I was a travel agent for 11 years and worked for AAA for 2. Generally hotels that have outdoor interiors receive lower rating due to the safety issues. But like I said, that really isn’t a problem here. And this has less frills then your higher rates hotels. While the rooms are not decorated like your higher end hotels, everything here looks clean and nice. Having stayed in many 3 and 4 diamond properties, I have no problems with this property and would stay here again.

Stayed one night before going to Biltmore. Nothing fancy, but the room was clean, breakfast was included and you are 10 minutes from plenty of places to eat a nice dinner. About a 10 minute drive to Biltmore the next day. Would stay here again.

We stayed 2 nights while visiting the Biltmore Estate and Asheville. It is an older hotel, recently remodeled. It was very clean. We asked for a first floor room and got it. It is less than 10 minutes from the Biltmore and about 5 minutes from downtown. This is not a fancy hotel, but had good service, plenty to eat at breakfast (free), nice clean rooms, a good location, a friendly staff, and good rates. We would stay here again. I looked up the reviews on Trip Advisor before booking and they were right on.

Room Tip: Get a first floor room. I did not see an elevator
