“Large menu, great service”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 23, 2014

Large menu with something for everyone. Family friendly. Lodge-type interior. Excellent service. Food quality is typical for a large roadside restaurant but the staff is accommodating for special requests. She had the shrimp scampi. I had chicken pasta florentine and substituted the scampi sauce for the menu-listed alfredo sauce - no problem! Both served with salad, both large servings, both very good. Located near the Blue Ridge Parkway on Rt 109

“Great place close to hotel”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 16, 2014

The staff was very accommodating in seating a large group in no time at all even though the place was very busy. Food was very good and not that pricey. Servers were on their toes!!

“Great Food, Great Prices and Great Services”

They have a very wide menu, and we tried a few of their dishes. They give you plenty of food. We liked it so much we ate there twice.

“Stone Ridge”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 12, 2014

It was a very enjoyable evening having supper at Stone Ridge. The server was prompt. The draft beer selection included several local craft brews. The steak came out cooked exactly as ordered. My friend's burger was suitably intimidating - piled very high with fixings. Desserts were not tempting after the meal. Definately on the list for a return visit.

“Hit all the right notes”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 9, 2014

Our second day in Asheville, we had spent a good chunk of the day at Biltmore and were headed back to the cottage. Neither of us was in the mood for a production as far as dinner nor were we in the mood for a long wait. I had noticed this place when we first got to town when heading to our cottage, had good overall reviews, so why not? So glad we did stop. Excellent selection of draft beers and both of us had salads for dinner. I don't remember my wife's choice but I do remember she loved it. I had the Greek with shrimp added and it was killer. Super fresh ingredients, shrimp cooked perfectly, and their dressing was awesome.
As someone else mentioned, the tables are far enough apart that you have at least the illusion of privacy. Service was a bit too leisurely in pace but we were not in a hurry and that seems to be the norm for Asheville restaurants.
