Limones came highly recommended by the owners of our B&B (Crooked Hill Inn) and did not disappoint. This is an upscale "creative Mexican" restaurant, with fresh, interesting ingredients that make you think about the flavor combinations -- not run-of-the-mill tacos etc. We shared the mussel appetizer, which was absolutely splendid in a coconut milk and jalapeño broth, and more than enough for two people. My husband enjoyed the lamb shank burrito, an ample size cooked to perfection. I had the sea scallops (plump, juicy and tender) with pesto mashed potatoes and mushrooms. There are many tempting menu items, as well as specialty bar drinks -- including some very interesting margaritas -- and a great wine list. Reservations are a must unless you dine late; the restaurant is small and intimate. Service was excellent and our waitress Marla took great care of us and was thoroughly familiar with the menu and ingredients. Entrees between $17-34. There is no "kid's menu." It's a fabulous "adult foodie" place!
