My wife and I stayed at the Residences for a few days under the Romantic Package. The package included in-suite masssages for two, tickets to Biltmore and nearby museum, and $50 off reputable restaurant. Given the costs of each of these items separately, the one-BR suite was a really good deal. Plus, we found the staff to be very responsive, accommodating, and friendly. Although the construction on the site was a bit disturbing (particularly since it seemed to start early in the morning when we were trying to sleep and knock off by mid-day when we were not), it only marginally impacted our stay. We understand that the construction will end in the coming months. As a result, we have recommended this place to friends and family without reservation.

My husband and I just spent a weekend at the Residences at Biltmore for our anniversary. Our reservation was made based on the tripadvisor reviews. Everyone is right - this is a great place to stay in Asheville.

Check-in was smooth. We had telephoned concierge ahead to get reservations for Biltmore estate and they were ready when we arrived. We were shown to our room and received a short speech on how to use all the amenities including the washer and dryer (Bosch - great quality!). The staff had great suggestions for dinner that didn't disappoint, even with my dietary restrictions.

We stayed in a one bedroom suite. The living room featured a fireplace, couch, leather chair with ottoman and a nice plasma tv. Off to the right was the kitchen (well stocked with supplies) and the dining area. A small outdoor patio went off of the living room, giving us a great view of the mountains. A table and chairs were set up outside. The bedroom was amply sized and featured another plasma. HBO was available in the living room but not the bedroom, but that didn't bother us. A small juliet balcony was off the bedroom (I suggest making sure this door is locked if you have children). The bathroom was quite large for a one bedroom. I didn't take advantage of the tub, but the shower was enclosed with glass. This is a serious preference of mine as I cannot stand fabric or plastic shower curtains in hotels. The bathroom was well stocked with nice shampoo, lotions, body wash, etc.

At turndown service we were provided with slippers to match our robes. A nice carafe of ice water was waiting bedside. Chocolates were also provided.

Overall, our hotel experience was wonderful. It was nice to feel so welcomed and valued by the staff.

The room was nice. We had a one bedroom unit with a living room and a full kitchen. The jacuzzi tub is for midgets. I couldn't stretch my legs out in the tub while trying to relax. The shower is nice. The walls are paper thin and we continually heard our neighbors downstairs talking, banging things around etc.... The other problem we had was that the maid never replenished any amenities (toilet paper, soap, shampoo etc) When we called the front desk about it, they made us feel like we were nuts. I don't like hotels where the housekeeping staff doesn't keep you well stocked with supplies. The room was clean. The construction in the back of the building was a little inconvenient. For the price, I guess it was ok but I would not recommend or go back.
