“Spring Break "My Home Away From Home"”
Reviewed March 26, 2013

I recently visited Asheville, NC three weeks ago for spring break. I stayed at the Residences at Biltmore and I absolutely loved it! My favorite part was the bathroom and the living area!!! I stayed in a one bedroom suite. The dislikes were that I found a huge roach in the bathroom drawer and the bedroom stayed very cold. The good things definately out weighed the bad and I would stay here again!!! Its also down the street from the Biltmore and downtown Asheville! I highly recommend this place to anyone and the staff is really sweet and helpful.

Room Tip: Book ahead of time and the one bedroom suite is gorgeous!

We were really impressed with this place. The 2 bdr, 2 bath suite was nicely appointed. I think the furniture was some of the nicest that I have seen at this price point. The place was clean and quiet. The staff was nice. The location was convenient. The beds and pillows were comfortable. One person slept on the sofa bed and had no complaints. The towels were nice. There was a TV in each bedroom and in the living area. Having a kitchen enabled us to have breakfast in the suite every day. We even ate most lunches at the suite. The washer and dryer came in handy after rafting on the French Broad. We plan to return to Asheville and will definitely plan on staying here again.

My family really enjoyed their stay. So much in fact, that we postponed going to see friends (which was purpose of our trip to begin with) just to stay another night. The location was a key factor, as we were tucked away just off of Biltmore Avenue and were within minutes of anything we wanted to do. It was as simple as turning right, which ran straight through downtown, or turning left which led to Biltmore Estate. We were far enough away from downtown to minimize the noise but close enough to be there when needed.

Additionally, we were also very close to larger supermarkets and a Walmart. Since we had rented a two bedroom suite, this enabled us to stock the refrigerator with what we wanted very economically. The kids even found that there were several pizza places that delivered to the hotel as well. You could also use local valet providers that would pick up food orders or anything else you needed...relatively cheaply. Though we did not use this, we were quoted a $6 fee for picking up food orders we had considered placing.

The layout of the room was also important, as everyone could unwind in their own space without disturbing others. For instance, the flatscreen televisions had dvd players built in, which allowed the kids to put in a movie in their room while we watched something else in the living room.

Everything was well placed...and how could I forget the tub! My kids thought they were in paradise, as the tub was huge and had jets...something my wife enjoyed so much due to her health problems with her hips. After a day out on the town, she would sit in the tub and turn on the jets for relief.

Don't think you will be disappointed with your stay at all. Sure, you may hear the occasional police car go by, but then again you are in a larger metropolitan area. Highly recommend!

It was like being at home. Other than the fact that Asheville NC is such an enchanting place, staying at this hotel was great. It is beyond any hotel that I have ever stayed at. The staff was super friendly and it was so clean. We had everything that we could possibly need. It also was so close to all the attractions that we decided to partake of.

We stayed two nights in a studio suite and definately will be back. The room was very clean and had all of the amenities and tools we needed to make a comfortable stay including a washer/dryer and kitchen supplies. The bed was very comfortable, TV was a good size, and it was the perfect amount of space for the two of us. The only disappointment was that the fireplace was electric and did not have effect we desired, but this was not enough to deter me from returning. Also the walls are thin and we could hear every footstep from the unit above, but there isn't much that could be done about that. The check-in and check-out process was painless and quick. Overall, a great place for the money.

We were only able to stay one night, but would love to have a week here - GREAT doesn't say enough! Beautiful ammenities, loved having a warm fire at the flip of a switch, full kitchen, a bathroom bigger than my bedroom at home, great balcony with a mountain view, and just all around wonderful. My only wish is that there was an earlier check-in time... 4pm was really late after getting up and traveling so early and we would have loved an early afternoon nap. But, even so, it was a great stay and we will be back!

Room Tip: Ask for a top floor room - every room is like an apartment, so having heavy footed neighbors above y...

The registration was easy and very personable. The room and environment of the hotel was very nice and clean. Enjoyed the in room jacuzzi tub. Very spacious suite.
The fireplace was very nice but it would have been also nice to have an extra cover or throw blanket to snuggle under. We had a ground floor room so the bedroom had a outside door right by the bed which made me feel uneasy. Finally the lighting on the outside shown right thru the blinds in the bedroom which was a little aggrevating. All in all a nice stay.
