“Will surely return”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 19, 2013

We stayed two nights in a studio suite and definately will be back. The room was very clean and had all of the amenities and tools we needed to make a comfortable stay including a washer/dryer and kitchen supplies. The bed was very comfortable, TV was a good size, and it was the perfect amount of space for the two of us. The only disappointment was that the fireplace was electric and did not have effect we desired, but this was not enough to deter me from returning. Also the walls are thin and we could hear every footstep from the unit above, but there isn't much that could be done about that. The check-in and check-out process was painless and quick. Overall, a great place for the money.

We were only able to stay one night, but would love to have a week here - GREAT doesn't say enough! Beautiful ammenities, loved having a warm fire at the flip of a switch, full kitchen, a bathroom bigger than my bedroom at home, great balcony with a mountain view, and just all around wonderful. My only wish is that there was an earlier check-in time... 4pm was really late after getting up and traveling so early and we would have loved an early afternoon nap. But, even so, it was a great stay and we will be back!

Room Tip: Ask for a top floor room - every room is like an apartment, so having heavy footed neighbors above y...

The registration was easy and very personable. The room and environment of the hotel was very nice and clean. Enjoyed the in room jacuzzi tub. Very spacious suite.
The fireplace was very nice but it would have been also nice to have an extra cover or throw blanket to snuggle under. We had a ground floor room so the bedroom had a outside door right by the bed which made me feel uneasy. Finally the lighting on the outside shown right thru the blinds in the bedroom which was a little aggrevating. All in all a nice stay.

I loved this hotel. It is more like a condo. The staff at check are more than willing to accommodate your needs. But not willing to match the internet price they advertise. We paid $127.00 for a studio and the advertised price was $107.00. Sadly my phone died and I could not book it in the parking lot. We stayed in a studio suite which was perfect. Very quite and home like. I stayed there because we were into our sixth day of a two week vacation and the idea of being able to wash our clothes was appealing Although be aware that it takes about two hours to dry 6 T-shirts. So we spent about six hours washing a few pairs of pants and drying them. I would highly recommend this hotel even with the few little things. It was just like being at home. Would be great for more than one night and perfect for families. We loved the kitchen. There is no restaurant on the property but several close by.

Upon arrival in the room, my husband's comment was, "Can we move in?" The one bedroom room was absolutely stunning. We used our fireplace both nights. We ate breakfast in both mornings and dinner one night. The full sized stocked kitchen made the meals easy. The staff is very knowledgable of the area and their recommendations for meals and the spa were spot on. The location is awesome as other reviewers have noted. We cannot wait to return. Thank you.

Drove into Asheville during a monsoon just in time to hit traffic gridlock at rush hour. All the tension was gone when we arrived at the Residences as we were greeted warmly at check in and given directions to 1 bedroom apartment. We stayed in an end unit on the top floor and felt as if we had the place to ourselves. Only once did we meet someone on the elevator and any concerns about noise (as mentioned previously in other TA postings) were completely relieved. It seems as though there have been extensive efforts to rectify noise issues because we only heard train whistles on occasion. As for the apartment, it was absolutely spotless and the decor was breathtaking with a gas fireplace in the living room. Our bedroom had a king-sized bed that was very comfortable with a total of six pillows available in the room as well as two robes. The kitchen had everything we could want and several nights we prepared an elegant dinner to stay in and watch movies. The full size appliances included a fridge with water/ice through the door, programmable stove/oven, microwave, and dishwasher. The huge bathroom with steam shower, whirlpool tub, and lighted makeup mirror was more than we expected. There was a washer/dryer in the apartment that we didn't use. The location was a very short distance from supurb restaurants, unique shops, and the must see Blue Ridge Parkway. I can't think of anything else that would have made our stay more comfortable. Thank you to everyone that made our stay so enjoyable!

We had the pleasure of staying at the Residences at Biltmore last summer when my husband and I got married in Asheville. Our large wedding party, family members, and many of our guests also stayed there, and we heard nothing but the best about everyone's stay. Some other reviewers seemed to be confused by the name, but we were always aware that this residence is not affiliated with the Biltmore Estate. There was no deception at all. Our guests preferred being close to the Estate yet far from the exorbitant prices. The Residences at Biltmore is perfect for so many reasons. It's an affordable, luxury stay in an ideal location. The customer service was also phenomenal. I believe Ed was the gentleman working at the front desk during our stay, and he worked tirelessly to make sure all of our needs were met. He created a nice space for the bridal party to gather when we made our bouquets, and he (with help from a lovely lady) made sure that all of our welcome gifts were promptly and enthusiastically delivered to our guests. David was a huge help in booking, too. We have a large (sometime chaotic) family. We were all greeted warmly when we arrived. The rooms were gorgeous and spacious. The housekeepers' attention to detail created a warm, pleasant mood immediately; our bathroom towels were folded into the shapes of hearts and swans, and the rooms were sparkling clean every day. We loved that the hotel had eco-friendly accents, too, like the soaps with a hole in the middle, and many others. The beds were quite comfortable. Our guests liked the regular beds and bedding, but the few guests who did sleep on the pull-out couches said they were much more comfortable after borrowing foam mattresses or egg shells from the front desk so the pull-out mattresses felt thicker. Our guests had a blast swimming in the pool and spa, and they got cozy by the fire pit and beneath the stars afterward. Having a full kitchen was wonderful. We were running around a lot throughout the week, so it was nice to be able to enjoy meals with family and friends at odd hours of the day and night. We had a trolley pick up our guests, and the Residences staff also did a great job controlling this traffic and keeping communication open with us. Some of our older family members and guests were also given rides on golf carts to different levels when the July heat became unbearable. The staff went above and beyond in every way, and they exceeded our highest expectations. Some of the magic we felt that week can most certainly be attributed to our stay at the Residences at Biltmore, and we will always be grateful to this beautiful group of people and luxurious residence for making our week so incredibly special. We are looking forward to celebrating an anniversary at the Residences at Biltmore as soon as we can. We hope everyone at the Residences receives our message: a huge thank you for making our stay, and our celebration of our wedding and marriage, a dream come true.

Wow--I'm so glad we could make your dream come true! I greatly appreciate this extensive review about your experience with us. Knowing that you enjoyed your time here this much is extremely humbling. Hope to welcome you all back sometime!
On a side note, we replaced the sleeper sofa mattresses since your stay. They are custom made and they are very comfy now.
