This is really not a hotel, but instead a very nice condo development. There is a small lobby for checking in, but after that, it is like staying at your own apartment in Asheville except with maid service.

We stayed in a spacious two bedroom unit. A large room contained the living area with fireplace, dining area, and an open kitchen area with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. This room had a hardwood floor, nice craftsman style furniture, and a warm earth tone color scheme. A small balcony let you enjoy the outdoors. Each bedroom was decent size and continued the country look of the apartment. The guest bath was a nice standard bathroom, the master bedroom bath was very large with two sinks, shower, and separate Jacuzzi tub. It was a very nice and cozy place to stay, just the right kind of atmosphere you would expect to find in a mountain setting. The only issue we had with the place was that the air conditioning in the living area was very loud.

The property is set on a hillside with two long crescent shaped buildings four stories high and one set above the other with parking on either side of the buildings. The units are entered through open air corridors, with four units per floor. In order to have a view of the trees, you need to be on the top two floors of either building. It seems lots of units must have a view of the parking lots instead.

At the top of the property is a nice large heated pool and hot tub with a good amount of loungers around to relax on. The property is nice but there is not much to it other than the buildings, parking and pool. It is set back a little from the main road that runs through Asheville.

Biltmore Village and the entrance to the Estate are just down the road, and downtown is a five minute drive up the road.

If you need or want space, but do not need full hotel services, then this is the perfect place to stay in the area.

This was the perfect place to be in Asheville! The staff was attentive & helpful, even suggesting a wonderful place for dinner...The Corner Kitchen in Biltmore Village! The rooms were clean & beautiful. It was so convenient to have a real bedroom (not like a hotel) & a real livingroom area, not to mention laundry facilities right in the suite.

The staff is excellent and the property is beautiful inside and out. There is no doubt, when we visit Asheville again, this is where we will stay.

We found nothing thing to complain about with this hotel. You can literally walk to Biltmore Village, and Estate and run, if you like to run, to just about anywhere worth getting to in Asheville. The pool area is nice and the grounds are very well maintained. The rooms are spacious villas and they are super quiet. Great for couples and families and while we enjoyed the romantic trip the first time out, we will be sure to bring the whole family during our next stay. The kitchens are great if you want to have a snack or even make a meal. The bathrooms are really nice and always very clean. Overall this place is great for the price of good.

We were encouraged when we drove up to the beautiful location of this condo-type accommodation located on a hillside about midway between downtown and the Biltmore estate. Our "residence" was very impressive on the surface: modern, stylish furniture; granite counters; stainless appliances; fireplace with a mounted hd tv above in the living area; and a comfortable bed and mounted tv in bedroom. The place fell short in the attention to details. There was a large work trailer in the parking lot outside our room, which became the view from our balcony the batteries were dead in both tv remotes; and housekeeping seemed to be an 'only if you ask for it' service, which was not made known to us at check-in. For some reason, the bathroom contained two bedside tables and a sofa table ... unnecessary clutter that led to me bumping my elbow when I used the toilet. There was no shower liner in the shower and only 1/2 the clips holding up the curtain so the floor got wet and the curtain got soaked. The batteries also died on our room lock, locking us out! While waiting to get into our room after a long day of siteseeing, we noticed a huge pile of trash and laundry on the ground that was obviously left by housekeeping. Not a big deal, but the laundry was still there the next day. After several attempts to get our concerns addressed, they were, but we felt that having to ask more than once was not what should have happened. We travel a lot and we recognize that some problems are unavoidable, but many of the above could be addressed to improve the experience. The place itself is nice.

Room Tip: Do a walk through upon check in.

I am a very picky traveler and will not stay just anywhere. I want good value for my money being a former Travel Agent I know hotels!
I cannot find one thing to complain about here! Walk to Biltmore Village, and Estate. Very short drive to dtwn Ashville. Lovely pool area. Rooms spacious villas and quiet! Great for couples. Not good for families and there weren't many which was also great!

Our family of 4 (kids ages 12 and 14) stayed at this hotel in a one bedroom for three nights. We enjoyed staying here even though it was a little tight for our family (they were sold out of 2 bdrms). The kitchen was well equipped and had full size appliances. The closet grocery store was about 2 miles down the road. The only small complaint I have is that there is only one mirror in the unit and that was in the bathroom. With 4 people staying in the apt. this posed a problem when getting ready in the AM. Other than that everything was as expected. Would definitely go back again and would recommend.
