My husband and I spent several days here. It was a great base of operations. We absolutely loved the spacious suites, the staff and the location! We were within walking distance of all of the great restaurants and sites in Downtown Asheville. Our suite was located in the back of the hotel, so while we didn't have a view of the city it was definitely quiet enough for uninterrupted sleep on Friday and Saturday nights. The amenities including great local coffee and chocolate along with robes, slippers, and a full-size w/d were wonderful. The complimentary beverages downstairs were also a nice touch. The only concern was a lack of convenient parking but there was dedicated space for unloading/loading our luggage on check in/out.

PS - Thomas who works evenings is super helpful!

We got a suite for our family, which was plenty big enough. The suite had a wow factor-not flashy but very well designed and decorated. Right in the heart of Asheville's downtown. It doesn't have a workout facility onsite, but anyone can use the YMCA a couple of blocks away. Also, our room was interior and a little dark--next time we'd request an exterior room.

Room Tip: Stay away from interior rooms

Recently stopped off in Asheville for a night and decided to stay at The Windsor. I really wish I had more than a night's stay because the hotel was awesome. The room was basically an apartment which was very tastefully decorated and welI appointed. The exposed brick was quite cool and really added to the decor. The kitchen had everything you would need to cook a fine meal, and with very nice stainless appliances at that. The separate bedroom had a comfy bed and was very quiet. Overall everything was very clean and there was plenty of room to stay for a good while if one needed to. With it's location right in the heart of downtown Asheville, you are literally steps away from tons of delicious food, great breweries, unique shopping, and fun entertainment. The Windsor is the only place I'll stay in Asheville.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Windsor in July and we loved it! There are personal touches throughout the hotel that really make it feel like a home away from home.

In the lobby there are complementary beverages and snacks available at all times. Our room was immaculately clean and offered the most amenities I have ever seen. There was a kitchen (it had an oven, microwave and full size fridge). Additionally, there was a washer/dryer (with detergent pods), sofa bed, and two flat screen TV's.

Our Bedroom was off to the side of the kitchen and the "living room". We had a king size bed that was extremely comfortable. There were two chocolates welcoming us from the chocolate shop across the street, which I consider a nice touch. The room came complete with a safe, bathrobes, slippers, you name it!

These guys did not miss anything. Whatever you need is available to you to make your stay as comfortable as possible. This takes luxury to the next level. I would highly recommend.

We recently stayed in a one bedroom suite with two queen beds, a living area with a kitchen and a washer and dryer. Plenty of room for our family of four. Our room decor and furnishings were very lovely and unique and the appliances were all top quality. There were even bathrobes and slippers in the closet.

Staff is very nice and helpful and free coffee, tea, soft drinks and snacks are available around the clock in the lobby.

This is an older building so floors do creak a bit, so if that bothers you, try for the top floor. The hotel is in a central location near some great restaurants. We would stay there again.

Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. We love that we were able to accommodate you and your family. We appreciate that you noticed our appliances and furnishings. We definitely wanted to provide a level of quality our guest can appreciate. We have also done recent work on our floors to lighten the creaks. We hope that you and your family can visit again soon!
