Loved the mussels and cheese plate. Always solid food, great atmosphere and experience. Always eat here when in town.

Although a bit on the noisy side for a romantic dinner, we enjoyed our meal at Bouchon. The mussels with fries (moules-frites) are very good. We were disappointed that we couldn't order an espresso after our meal, when we shared this with our waiter we got the comment "well this is not an Italian restaurant". No, indeed, but any decent French restaurant offers a 'café' which is light years away from the regular coffee. It was the snootiness of the comment that irked us. When we left, no 'thank you' or anything from the same snooty waiter. Well, dommage.

Adorable cozy restaurant reminiscent of a New Orleans bistro. Very friendly service, true French fare at fair prices, great wines reasonably priced. On a side street away from the hustle of downtown Asheville,, this place is a find.
Too bad the mussells are an entree rather than an appetizer for they smelled fab!

Small but very friendly bar, serving from outside as well as inside, the atmosphere is welcoming. If I lived in Asheville, it would be my regular haunt!

My husband and I stopped in for some wine and appetizers at Bouchon in Asheville. We ordered frog legs, mousse pate, and their famous french fries with aioli. Everything was wonderful and staff was very pleasant. We were seated in a cute court yard and we almost felt like we were in a cafe in France. The house wine was very good for the price and the owner, Michel, even stopped by our table to make sure everything was perfect. We will return!!

Bouchon est le meilleur restaurant français à Asheville!

Yup, it's the best French restaurant in downtown Asheville. You will find all the tasty french comfort foods and wine pairings you care to eat and drink.

I have lived in Asheville only 8 months and I have been here four times. Each time I visit I like it more and more. The service is top-notch. The ambiance quaint. La cuisine est très magnifique! You can't go wrong at Bouchon! Go, you'll love it!
