Our first experience at Bouchon did not disappoint. Duck confit was very hearty and wonderful for a cool winter night. The pork chop and veggies was stick to your ribs goodness.

A little heavy for every day dining but perfect for a for cozy dinner.

Our party of six arrived at 5PM so we would be sure of getting a table on "Monday Night Mussel Night". For $15 each we had all the mussels we could eat. They have 5 different flavors and we tried them all. They have a great selection of beer. Our waiter was great and really knows beer and mussels. One member of our group had the pork chops and said they were excellent.

We had a great experience. This was my second time. We had to get to a show and they got us through on a busy Saturday night. We ended up in a little room at the back of the restaurant with just a single table which was on the way out to the patio. The food is great french bistro food at a reasonable price. I had the steak au poive and my wife had duck with butternut squash ravioli. We also had a very nice turnip bisque. We found out they also allow well behaved dogs on their patio. Highly recommend this place

We have eaten here several times in the past and always look. forward to our return. As usual our return to the Asheville area was well rewarded. I had the escargot and the porc special--- the porc was cooked to perfection, close to well but still juicy and tender. It has long been my opinion that the true character of a chef and his restaurant can be revealed by the quality of the vegetables they serve with the main; we were not disappointed finding the same quality here as with the porc. I was able to return to France this evening if only for a short time.
