“Great food”
Reviewed October 25, 2012

I had the best fresh Trout that I ever had. The price for our food and bottle of wne was very reasonable. I am looking forward in going back.

“Average food in relaxing courtyard”
Reviewed October 23, 2012

Since the cafe was about to close in 30 minutes, my friend and I decided to order hotdogs thinking that would be fastest for the cooks. The organic hotdogs on baguette was an interesting twist and the dipping sauce for the frites was mild in flavor. The crepe was disappointing coming with my meal even though I requested it for dessert. The crepe had no flavor and for $6 was a disappointment. The staff ignored us and made us feel unwelcomed. The courtyard itself was delightful to sit outside on a nice fall day.

“Not sure”
Reviewed October 17, 2012 via mobile

Great food- service is horrible. First we were told it would be a 35 minute wait, we waited for an hour then another 10 at the table before out server came over. She only checked on us once. Dont think we will be back. Bad service ruins it all.

“At last, a very good restaurant, by and for frenchy.. one Michelin star in Asheville? ;-)”
Reviewed October 17, 2012

My wife and I love one thing: good and very good restaurants. We live in Paris and cumulate at least 10 stars/year in the Michelin! And Le bouchon could almost deserve one! We Said to ourselves first: damn, we don't want to have another fake "bouchon" in the US, like bad "french" restaurants in NYC.. we have been waiting for an hour and didn't regret! Plenty of time to study wine card: only good french wine!! À few words with Michel the owner: almost everything is fresh, homemade and from local production!! The service: It's hot in thé plate in front of you! The check: we would be glad to pay this ratio quality/price in most of cities in France!! Almost unbelievable.. rg

“Wonderful warm owner, delicious food in great atmosphere”
Reviewed October 16, 2012

We live in Asheville and there really are so many great restaurants, one of my most favorite is the wonderful Bouchon. The owner is so great with the customers. Their Bouchon Label wine is delicious as well as their other menu favorites. We had the cheese plate which had a delicious fall apple compote to go with the selection of cheese. It was a crisp fall evening so we ordered the French Onion Soup amazing.
