After visiting the Biltmore House and Gardens you must check out Biltmore Village. The architecture is so pretty with the cute little houses as shops and restaurants. Find a place to park and just stroll through the village window shopping and checking out what this adorable village has to offer. Eat at the Corner Kitchen and be tempted to enter New Morning Gallery.

Stores close at 6 and most restaurants close early. Only a few unique stores. Other stores include: J.Jill, Chicos etc. which you can find in your neighborhood mall.Don't waste your time. Nothing to see here.

Very interesting. Lots to see. Wished we had bought the two day ticket. Could have spent a lot more time there. Felt rushed trying to jam everything into one day.

You've done the do in Asheville. You're near the I-40 and ready to jump on the interstate for home. But wait, what is this little neighborhood across from the McDonald's with Tudor architecture and Victorian houses? It is Biltmore Village. It's quiet, quaint, and just a few blocks of wandering bliss. Duck into the quiet shops or just window browse. Get an ice cream and hug your honey while the kids frolic in the park. It's as long or as short as you want to make it. A lot of parking for free, if you are good at parallel parking. I know I am.

My husband hates to shop... but, enjoys the small boutique and artsy shops. We had a lovely stroll and stopped for lunch at one of the restaurants located there in the village. He bought more than I did and said it was a highlight of our trip to Asheville. The village is a great place for couples, a girls day out ,or even for some time alone to shop and escape the busy pace of life.
