We recently stayed at the Willow Cottage for our anniversary and it exceeded our expectations. We booked late or we would have booked a two bedroom as we had our ten month old twins with us, but I can say there was enough room for all of us in the Willow without it feeling cramped (including two pack n plays). The cottage was spotless, bed was very comfortable, hot tub was really nice, and we even had snacks and a bottle of sparkling wine waiting for us when we got there - it really was such a nice touch. You feel far enough away from it all that it is a retreat, yet you are minutes from Biltmore, downtown etc. It is nice and new - I am not the rustic type but wanted a "mountain" location. I will absolutely stay here in the future if I return to Asheville, it really was a perfect getaway!

Room Tip: Book early for the fall.

This was our first experience at renting a cottage instead of staying at a hotel. And now, I can't imagine a better place to stay than at Asheville Cottages. Everything was top of the line and the cottage was extremely well kept and clean. All the conveniences possible were thought of - from the fully equipped kitchen to the" flip of the switch" gas fireplace. The bed was incredibly comfortable - we both enjoyed the best night sleep we've had in weeks. We really can't say enough about the cottages. Thank you to the owners for providing one of the best stays ever!

Room Tip: The Laurel was a perfect size for two. There is a sleeper couch in the living area that could accom...

Asheville Cottages is the perfect place to unwind from the hectic day to day. Attention to detail from the moment you reach the property, throughout the cottage, to the unmatched hospitality of the owners! This place is a rare gem. You have to experience it for yourself.

The Magnolia Cottage was absolute perfection. Everything is beautifully decorated and there is nothing they have forgotten. The hot tub was wonderful, the beds are so comfortable, it truly feels like home. We had a hard time leaving to explore Asheville because we loved the cottage so much! The owners were extremely pleasant. The location is very quiet and private. If my daughter chooses UNCA we will definitely be back and would highly recommend this to anyone considering a trip to Asheville.

Wow! We cannot say enough about our trip to Asheville and it was largely because of Asheville Cottages. My wife and I combined our anniversary weekend with driving from Philadelphia to bring our son to visit his college friend (where he stayed, of course…it was our anniversary!!). We had heard Asheville was nice, had a “big house” attraction (Biltmore) and some great outdoor activities - and all of that was true, but all we talked about was the great accommodations. We travel extensively and love accommodations that include plenty of room to spread out and good kitchen facilities. If that describes you, then these cottages are perfect. They could not have been cleaner, the kitchen was well stocked, the Hot Tub was great, the beds were perfect and it was extremely quiet. If you want to be in walking distance to the town center and nightlife, this is not your place, but everything is so close that we hopped in our car and got everywhere we wanted to be in 5-20 minutes. When my son visits his buddy again, I am sure my wife will want to volunteer to drive him just so we can stay there again – Great Job Tracie and Marshall!!

My wife and I stayed in the Asheville "Bent Creek" cottage last week for a four-night stay. As we anticipated, our experience at Asheville Cottages exceeded the quality of any hotel stay in that the cottages offered privacy and space which is simply unavailable at any hotel. The last thing we wanted in as nice a place as Asheville was to stay in a hotel where you can't open a window. The cottages, with fireplaces, hot tubs, private decks and plenty of fresh air, are exactly what you want when staying in as pretty a place as Asheville. The Bent Creek cottage is split level and the two bedrooms are downstairs, offering separation and privacy from the upstairs. The cabins are also spotlessly clean and well maintained, and detailed instructions are provided by the owners on how to handle garbage and basic house-hold issues. They also give you coffee, filters, extra toothbrushes and toothpaste and a huge plate of complimentary snacks for you to enjoy. The owners are also very nice. I really can't think of anything bad to say about the place!

We loved staying in our cottage. We had a great time in Asheville, but our youngest daughter was always asking to return to the cottage. She loved the hot tub. Also, the cottages are clean and homey, and the beds are so comfortable. Close to downtown, but you do need to drive. Had an awesome time. Be sure to read guest reviews in cottage book for ideas and recommendations.
