“Perfectly Quite and Quaint”

We were very happy staying at the Asheville Cottages. It was so quite and relaxing and peaceful. Close proximity to everything we wanted to do - NC Arboretum (a must see!) the Biltmore, Shoji Spa (wonderful massages), food. We literally could not have picked a better place for us. The kitchen set up was great - altho we never used it (I say a vacation does not involve me in the kitchen!) We loved all the details - right down to the bottled water in the fridge. Loved it and can't wait to visit our little "Asheville home" again.

I loved these cottages. The owners think of everything you could need and have stocked the cottage accordingly. We were in Asheville for a week and these were perfect for cooking in a few meals. The cottage was very clean, had great linens and the hot tub is very nice. I don't think I will be staying at a hotel again while in Asheville. It felt like the comfort of home but much more luxurious. The cottages are also convenient to downtown, the Biltmore and to just right on the Blue Ridge Parkway.

My husband and I recently spent a weekend at the Asheville Cottages. We chose these cottage based on glowing reviews we read on this website. This little oasis in the woods was exactly as described...Everything you could possible think of was provided for you; luxurious sheets and towels and toiletries, indulgent treats and beverages, satellite TV, DVD movies, magazines, Asheville travel books, tons of info on local restaurants and not-to-be-missed places to visit. Best of all, the cabin and hot tub were squeaky clean. You feel as if the owners designed the comforts of the cabin specifically for you and anticipated your every desire...I defy you to think of any item that isn't supplied; even an umbrella was waiting by the door! We will be back!

We booked the Asheville Cottages after seeing all the great reviews on Trip Advisor but were still skeptical. How could there be absolutely no complaints?

I am delighted to report that all the positive things you read on this site and their website is accurate. We enjoyed spotless accommodations with all the amenities. The personal touches were much appreciated, from the well-stocked kitchen to the extra bathroom supplies. Our cottage even included a journal for guests to write about their experiences. It was great to read about others trips and pick up tips and ideas! The guidebook was also helpful. We appreciated having instructions on how to use everything from the hot tub to the Sleep Number bed.

Finally, this is an excellent location. We spent our days hiking and enjoying nature and our evenings sampling the local food and beer, and the drive to both activities was perfect. It is an easy 15 minute drive into the city.

Thank you for such great accommodations! We feel thoroughly spoiled and hope to come back and stay at the cottages again.

After searching places to stay other than a hotel like we normally do when visiting the Asheville area...I found the cottages. My wife kept asking me "How do you know if this place you have booked will be nice?" After we arrived and she walked in I was totally off the hook and she was ecstatic! We will be using the Asheville Cottages for all future stays in Asheville. While in Asheville we used the Cottages as a hub to see Biltmore, Grandfather Mountain, Chimney Rock and then water falls in the Brevard area.

The Asheville Cottage 1BR we stayed in for several nights was fabulous. They have thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable and memorable. We have stayed at a few places like this and the owners go above and beyond. Heated floors in the bathroom and a towel warmer were a pleasant surprise. You felt you were in the middle of nowhere, but close to what you needed. The privacy was great for the hot tub off the bedroom. We grilled one night-well stocked kitchen was nice. We felt it was an incredible value for the amenities, location, cleanliness, and comfort. If you are in the area, stay there and you will have a memorable time.

We took a mini-vacay for our anniversary this year and chose Asheville. For a change, we opted for a cabin rental (over a B&B or hotel we typically book there) which turned out to be a great choice. The 1BR cottage we rented was spotless - even the hot tub! Even when a rental house is clean, the hot tubs are almost never clean enough for me to use. The weather was cold and rainy (there was a car rescue due to flooding during our visit!) so it was wonderful to enjoy the covered hot tub and the fireplace at the cabin! I picked up some local gluten-free baked goods to enjoy at b'fast and the cabin was even stocked with gluten-free snacks - so thoughtful! The kitchen had everything you'd need to prepare any meal. The spacious bathroom had two windows and was stocked with great upscale toiletries that were also environmentally friendly!

Our fave resto there is Posana Cafe, but they were closed for renovations during our trip. Thankfully, we had great gluten-free experiences at Corner Kitchen (gf bagels for brunch!), Bouchon (gf fries!), Fig Bistro (killer gourmet anniversary dinner) and the White Duck Taco Shop (best and most interesting tacos we've had in years)! The crepe place owned by / next to Bouchon was closed so we didn't get to try their gf crepes. The Indian tea house a few doors down from Bouchon had killer gf tea cookies, but the cakes we tried weren't impressive.

For the money, the Asheville Cottage we rented was an exceptional value! When we go back to enjoy Posana Cafe again, we will definitely stay there again!
