“SUCH A GREAT DINNER THAT WE CAME BACK THE NEXT DAY FOR LUNCH”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 22, 2010

The Corner Kitchen is the perfect spot for creative, delicious (not precious) dining and comfortable, upbeat and inviting atmosphere. The 100+ year old home in which it is located adds to the charm. Most dining rooms have fireplaces. The best part is THE FOOD. We had the pecan crusted trout and meatloaf, both signature dishes, and souffle that is not to be missed for dinner. Lunch was a pot pie and the ploughman's lunch--both divine, with lucious salad. This is not to be missed!

“Wow. Hadn't been here for a couple of years and I'm very glad to have returned.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 22, 2010

I brought a large group here with a very short notice reservation. They accomodated us quickly and gave us a quiet area of the restaurant upstairs. The service was knowledgeable and polished (Eddie, very professional). The food was exceptionally good. I had a lobster spring roll which was wonderful. I have been here many times for lunch and always enjoyed it, but this visit made me a believer. I'll be back.

“the best breakfast place in town”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 22, 2010

best breakfast we had, potatoes and sausage especially. Slightly better than Tupelo Noney Cafe (although THC is really good too), and a 5 min wait instead of 45. We will go here again.

“This restaurant was an unexpected gem...”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 14, 2010

This restaurant was an unexpected gem tucked into a nook in Biltmore Village. We went for brunch and were surprised to find an array of eclectic, yet delicious breakfast dishes. The atmosphere is really interesting with funky colors and artwork but still retaining the integrity of the building. The service was very attentive and efficient. Definitely worth the stop!

“One of the best in Asheville”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 27, 2010

I get hungry thinking about this spot. Located in Biltmore Village, in a charming house, this eatery serves up delicious food throughout the day. The breakfasts are the best around, and lunch is fantastic too. Those soups will leave you wanting more, the biscuits are to die for, everything is just so tasty. Been there many times and can't wait to return...
