Description: The Cantina at Historic Biltmore Village features handmade Fresh Mex and the only tequila bar in Asheville. We're a great choice for dinner with friends, a family gathering, or even a romantic evening with someone special. Our expansive menu offers handmade Southwestern favorites with a twist of Asheville. We use only the freshest ingredients grown locally when available and strive to be conscientious of our extended and immediate environments. We compost the leftovers and aim at being as sustainable as possible. Start things off with tempting appetizers like the Chiles Rellenos and our Ultimate Queso Dip, just to name a few. Cantina favorites include The Biltmore Chicken Quesadilla Best Ever Baja Fish Tacos, and vegetarian options like The AshVeggie Burrito. Have an event coming up? Let the Cantina help feed your guests with on and off site caterings at prices to fit any budget. We have a wide assortment of proven crowd pleasing buffets, and are happy to customize for specific requests. The Cantina is also an active member of our community. If you opt to donate one of your two sides offered with each entrée, The Cantina will donate that portion to a local food charity. The cash equivalent of one donated side can feed up to 6 of our neighbors in need. We at The Cantina are honored to be a part of Asheville and the unique enclave that is Historic Biltmore Village. Whatever brings you in, we hope you enjoy your meal and time spent in our company, and that you return again soon for Asheville's most unique and delicious Fresh Mex and Tequila Bar!

Love that they have vegetarian and gluten free options! The menu has many selections as well as the brunch menu! We tried some of the items on the brunch menu as well as the craft beer flights. The staff was very friendly and inviting. The portions were very generous! The plates were so large and full of food, but I'm not complaining! There are tons of options for parking and it was not a problem!

“Delicious!”

I've eaten at The Cantina several times for lunch and it's consistently good. Fresh food and friendly service every single time. Parking is not an issue. I recently had the Grilled Stuffed Avocado (with shrimp) and it was outstanding - perfect portion size... AND only $4,99. I'll be back.

“Good Mexican fare”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 15, 2014 via mobile

We went here on a busy Saturday but were seated after a very short wait. The Cantina is a great place for Mexican food. I love enchiladas so order them every time I do Mexican. The pork enchiladas with a creamy cheesy coriander sauce were great (though you have several sauce options). You are offered many possibilities for sides and since my enchiladas came with two sides I had the refried beans and roasted Brussels sprouts. Everything was great with just the right amount of spiciness. I'll be back!

“Great Experience!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 11, 2014

We were three girls out to have a fun lunch. The Cantina's food was beautifully prepared and colorfully presented. There were 3 colors of chips with tomatilla dip and salsa. The fried fish tacos were very crunchy and fresh and the choice of two interesting sides was great ~ not just rice and beans. We had spicey brussel sprouts and wonderful roasted root vegetables. The local seasonal beer was great ~ we even were offered a taste before we bought. Our waiter Chris was VERY knowledgeable, helpful and solicitous. He anticipated our every need! We certainly will go back and "talk up" The Cantina. They don't take reservations, but you can call ahead and get on the list for faster seating. It is located in Historic Biltmore Village near Biltmore Estate.
