We went for "Asheville Restaurant week" so the prices were more reasonable. The food is a bit "chic" -- quail (tiny) with side dishes I couldn't quite identify and his local trout was rather small with black quinoa. I thoroughly enjoyed the carrot ginger soup and he found the kale and lettuce cesear salad better than he thought it would be. The olive oil served with the bread was especially tasty. The dessert was impressive: brownie with ginger ice cream (what was with the marshmellow?) and a honey lavendar creme brulee.
