Description: The focus at Ambrozia is a farm to table menu that evolves with availability and the seasons. The menu is heavily southern influenced but will also feature some southwestern, Caribbean, Asian, and European flair from Sam's different experiences as a chef. The bar is wine focused, featuring hand-picked food friendly wines. Craft beers and creative cocktails will also be available at the hand crafted bar. Whether coming to enjoy a multiple course meal or just stopping by for a drink, we want all our customers to feel the same family atmosphere that the employees have at Ambrozia Bar & Bistro.

Glad to have an upscale eatery on the Northside. Tasty, trendy, creative menu and ample offerings both in size and variety; broad range of selections. Very friendly and welcoming staff, excellent service and waitstaff. Have only been there once and looking forward to returning.

Didn't partake in libations, but wine list looks interesting, bar could be fun and bartender presented more as a mixologist. Happy to have them as neighbors.

My "no" in the above space doesn't mean much since it's such a dumb question. What restaurant ever fulfills that? That said, this is an excellent restaurant--probably the best in Asheville, which is saying something, for a town that has so many fine ones. Great food, terrific service, and the place is lovely.

We ate here with friends while visiting Asheville. The Cherrywine short ribs are delicious. Loved the banana crime brûlée and the flour less chocolate cake. Nice presentation, delicious food, and good service - without costing an arm and a leg. Our bill for 5 people including beer, wine, appetizer, salad, entrees, desert, and tip was $176.

Extremely disappointing, bar service was terrible, small pours of wine and watered down vodka martini. Food was overcooked, and stuffed pork tasted like cardboard. Owner ask how the meal turned out and when we told him he walked away. The lobster corn dog would have difficulty in competing with the corn dogs you would get at the NC State Fair! Do not waste your time and money on this joint!!

We apologize for your bad experience with us. Everyone has their bad days, I suppose, but it is most unfortunate when it leaves such an imprint on a potentially wonderful customer. We have just passed our one year anniversary and we admit that there were many bumps along the road. We have evolved in many ways (our staff-new and old-, our menu, our bar and our rhythm most importantly) and we would love the opportunity to show you what we have become. Come in and let us know about you poor experience and we will accommodate the best we can!

Finally made it here after hearing from so many people that they had been and really liked it. N Asheville desperately needed another casual but good restaurant. Somewhere you don;t get sneered at by a wine waiter for choosing a chilled rose on a hot summer night. Somewhere you can get food good enough to take out-of-town guests. Avenue M has been my 'go to' local eatery which fits the bill but Ambrozia may have moved into that number 1 slot!

I had two small bites - an excellent gorgonzola flan and arugula salad. My husband had a shrimp dish which he said was perfectly cooked. We went on a night when they were out of stock of about 4 different wines so that's something that needs improvement. Also - and its minor - but with this beautiful wooden decor and great lighting, why did they choose ugly file folders for menu covers? Would be great to find something a little more attractive.

All in all, a great addition to the neighborhood!
