Burgers had a strange flavor, potato wedges had thyme on them and the smell overpowered all the food. Replaced the wedges with good old french fries and they were good, but were served in a dish that had a major chip in it.
Would never eat there again or recommend the place.

The service was good, the menu options were great...especially if you want to try a burger that is has different toppings. We would for sure come back to eat here!!

Excellent burgers, fried pickles, and sides. Also had a good selection of beer and casual atmosphere.

We ate here because it was ranked highly by a local publication. The main thing going for this burger joint is the strange decorum. We had a bad experience here. To start off we arrived and the place was empty and then we were served after another group that arrived after us. We were disappointed with the fact that none of Asheville's local breweries were represented on tap. The burger's were ok but not the best by a long shot. Everyone used about 10 napkins each because the buns were soaked in burger juice. Bread soaked with water is not very appetizing. We should have sent them all back. One of us wanted a turkey burger and it was obviously a frozen patty. The so called beer battered onion rings were not what you would expect, they were identical to Burger King onion rings., edible but not as advertised or worthy of the two dollar upcharge over for a free side. The beef burger patties tasted frozen as opposed to fresh. They may have been fresh at some point but were definitely not made Frey as you would expect for a 10 plus dollar burger. Again, stuff was not that bad but was poor versus the expectations put up by the high prices and reputation of the place. The highlight of Burgermeisters were the rest rooms.

One of my favorite places to eat. The ginger tea is excellent. I have not been able to find it very many places, so the fact that the food is also delicious is a plus!
