Our family loves eating at Early Girl for breakfast. My son loved it when he was younger because they give you crayons to color on the paper tablecloth. The pancakes are fantastic and the egg & cheese biscuits are super. I also like to get together with friends for a late breakfast or lunch.

Sorry to say it didn't live up to the hype nor the wait time. We waited an hour and the food was lukewarm and average at best! Everything tasted the same! Our French Toast tasted like fish. Big tourist trap!! Do not recommend.

We were flying to Asheville for a Saturday early dinner so we searched TripAdvisor for a good place to eat. We choose Early Girl Eatery because it sounded like a neat place. The food we got was delicious and big helpings. There is a big selection of home cooked food. It's located in a great shopping area of lots of quaint shops. The service was really efficient with friendly servers. It's family friendly, clean but you need a reservation unless you want to wait to be seated.

Nice stop on our way to Gatlinburg-Pigeon Forge area. The "Early Girl Benny" was a different spin on the ordinary Eggs Benedict. My husband had the Sweet Potatoe Scramble. This was our second time coming to this restaurant. Only complaint was that the grit cake wasn't warm on my Benny. If the dish was hot, it would have been even better. Like the India spice tea. Husband a little concerned about the "grungy " appearance of the staff...questions the cleanliness a little.

Our party of four arrived around dinner time on a weeknight and were promptly seated.
It took a while to place our order due to a large party arriving prior and our server was quite busy.
Overall, we all enjoyed what we ordered...meatloaf, vegetable plate and the special which was trout. Tasty, not fussy. Well seasoned and portions were large enough to share.
My fav was the mac n cheese, which was a bit on the salty side but scrumptious none the less.
