“Great Food!”
Reviewed June 12, 2013

My friend and I had a wonderful lunch here! Although we had to wait almost an hour to be seated, it was worth the wait. Everything is fresh and comes from local and cooked to perfection. Service was friendly. I will definitely be eating here again when I'm in Asheville!

“Great place to eat in Asheville”
Reviewed June 8, 2013

The food and the service were outstanding. We had a wonderful dinner here. The menu has a wide variety of choices, including breakfast all day. The catfish was fantastic.

“We didn't like the food.”
Reviewed June 8, 2013

The food was cold. The mac and cheese for the kids did not taste good at all. The fish was ok. We feel the food was warm up in a microwave. I would not come back again. However, local people have recommended it. Maybe we went the wrong day.

“We love eating here”
Reviewed June 8, 2013 via mobile

We have eaten here twice for breakfast and loved it each time. Service is friendly, accurate and punctual. Eggs, grits, biscuits, pancakes, granola, potatoes-it's all good. Even the trout for breakfast was excellent. The sausage was fresh and spicy. The fresh squeezed orange juice is great. We suggest buying the jam to take home.

“Comfortable gourmet breakfast”
Reviewed June 7, 2013

Early Girl is another great breakfast place in Asheville. We had a nice window seat overlooking College Street running by Pritchard Park. The craft paper covered tables let you know you're in a casual diner type of establishment but when you see the menu and taste the food you'll realize there's a talented and creative team of chefs working to create a great dining experience for you. I had the Sweet Potato Scramble and my wife had the Strawberry-Banana Pancakes. Both were delicious and filling. Service was great also. Would definitely return.

One note, they make great use of their limited space in the dining room and have a varied selection of table sizes which can accommodate just two or larger group of 6-7 easily. But table are close to each other so if you're a couple looking for a quiet corner, this may not be the place. That said, we were on our honeymoon and romance is what you make of it and great food is always part of that which Early Girl can provide all day long.
