“Great food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 24, 2014

We visited Zambra with the group and had a family-style dinner which consisted of lots of courses in small servings. Everything was good, but I especially liked: Patatas Bravas (crispy potatoes), mixed greens salad, grilled shrimp and lentil salad with arugula. Their bread with house infused olive oil was amazing! Service was attentive, dishes were flowing at just the right clip.

“Great tapas at an affordable price ok service”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 22, 2014

The food was great, only one of the 5 or 6 items we ordered was ok the rest was very good. Probably personal preference. Of course with tapas you are getting smaller portions but we had a nice little variety and a glass of sangria each and it was $50.

The service was eh ok, the waitress was nice enough but a little inattentive. The food server was outright cold and just threw plates on the table with a clunk and steamed off. Just not a friendly individual.

The interior looked fantastic and had a great mood for a date night dinner. We did not notice the exterior seating which looked awesome until after we left the restaurant. We definitely would have sat outside if we had known it was there.

“One of my favorites in Asheville...which is saying a lot”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 16, 2014

My wife and I have been to Zambra, probably 10 times over the past 5 years. We really LOVE the menu here. The small plates allow you to order a lot of different dishes. What makes Zambra so great, in addition to the fun atmosphere, is that the food pairings and flavors are so very good. It isn't high-end gourmet food, but very good and not pretentious.

We also love that there are specials in addition to the menu staples, which keeps us coming back more frequently than other places. Zambra seems to play 2nd fiddle to Curate in town, another great tapas restaurant. However, we really like Zambra better due to the variety on the menu.

“Unique atmosphere.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 16, 2014 via mobile

My wife and I chose Zambra based on the recommendation of local people. When first entering, we were unsure if it was the romantic atmosphere we were hoping for. They tucked us away in a corner and provided some wonderful dishes. Each one a had unique flavor and we were an blue to enjoy a wonderful evening after the music was turned down.

“Best tapas in town”

This place has it all. Great food, service, atmosphere and location. I can't say enough about it. It's a must do when downtown. We'll keep going back for more.
