Have been to this restaurant with out of town guests, for birthdays, for cozy intimate dinner with my husband. Every time it was fabulous! The tapas are very creative and tasty. The atmosphere is just heaven!

When you walk in you can feel the relaxed fun that exudes from the crowd. The seating includes several private areas in addition to general seating. The tapas selections are unique and the combinations work. For example who would think to combine sesame crusted scallops, grapefruit, avocado, and fennel? I don't know, but he/she is a genius. Loved everything, even the drinks and I am not a cocktail drinker. The waiter raved about the fusion drinks and skill of the bartender so effectively that I tried a concoction that burst with flavor unlike any cocktail I have tried. Prices are reasonable as well. Nice place to bring a date or a group of friends. Loved it.

My family ate at Zambra this past Saturday night, and it was just wonderful. The atmosphere is very warm with attention to detail everywhere. The great thing about tapas is built-in variety, and we all enjoyed sharing the various dishes. Service was quick and full of smiles. We will be back.

Visited Ashville for a weekend to see the Biltmore Estate, but spent the evening before walking downtown checking out the local "establishments". Found some cool places, particularly Zambra, which several locals recommended.

We stopped there later in the evening for some tapas (instead of dinner). The band was a bit loud if you wanted to hold a conversation. But hey, we were there to have a good time.

The place was packed. But, we nabbed 2 seats at the bar and ordered a few tapas. The food was incredible! i would definitely recommended checkin git out.
