The ABC in Coxe Avenue (rather than the one on Merrimon Ave) has just about got it all except for a pretty view. It is hugely conveniently located in downtown Asheville, a couple of hundred yards from Asheville's sundry main drags. There is on-street parking right outside the door, if you're lucky, and on several streets close by. Not sure if it has any spaces reserved in local parking lots - if you're unsure, don't risk it as Asheville's tow truck drivers are quick off the mark.
There's a decent range of about 8 draft beers, all of which are made locally if not actually on the premises. "Today's special" draft is $3 and changes regularly and their other beers are equally reasonably priced. Their "flagship" Shiva IPA is decent though not the best IPA in town and all their other beers are worth a sip. I've no idea if they sell the regular commercial stuff. Despite being a brewery, you can get a decent glass of wine or whatever if you're not a beer drinker.
Their pizzas, by the slice or whole, are generously topped and freshly cooked so you may have to wait a while if you want a calzone but it's worth the wait. The menu includes other brewery-type dishes with plenty of snack variety, burgers and so on. The atmosphere is functional but friendly with all manner of seating to match your mood (can't say I'd recommend it as a place to propose or anything though).
In short, I'll be back and be happy to take my family there.
