Description: Our Southern dishes and libations are served with a creative twist and a smile, and we serve our guests nothing that we wouldn't want on our own supper table. When we play with our food (and we think it's okay), the result is scrumptious. We're rooted in the Mountain South, and our menu is inspired by time-honored traditions: pickling and frying, canning and preserving, and utilizing seasonal produce and ingredients to prepare delicious, scratch-made creations.

“Pretty good, but worth the wait??”
Reviewed October 15, 2005

On Saturday evening, 10/15/05, my party of 6 ate at Tupelo Honey's. A variety a foods were ordered and everyone seemed to be quite happy with what they received. Our waitress was pleasant, service was reasonably quick, prices are in-line. The only negative was the 75 minute wait, which they underestimated by about 30 minutes.

“Even the hamburger was great!”
Reviewed July 27, 2005

We had lunch (although they serve breakfast all day), and the home-made soup and salad was delicious, as was the hamburger. Good service. The price was barely more than Mickey Dee's...

The word is out, though -- there was something of a line.

“Must eat at Tupelo Honey”
Reviewed July 16, 2005

We actually found out about Tupelo Honey right here on trip advisor. The reviews were right on the mark! EVERYTHING we had for dinner was spectacular. We were most impressed with the hot pimento cheese and tortilla appetizer. Make sure you try this place on your next visit. We ate outside and were once bothered by a homeless man, but the management quickly moved him on. Perhaps stay inside, though...

Been here twice and will return next time I go to Ashville! I haven't had food like this since I moved from California.
