Description: Our Southern dishes and libations are served with a creative twist and a smile, and we serve our guests nothing that we wouldn't want on our own supper table. When we play with our food (and we think it's okay), the result is scrumptious. We're rooted in the Mountain South, and our menu is inspired by time-honored traditions: pickling and frying, canning and preserving, and utilizing seasonal produce and ingredients to prepare delicious, scratch-made creations.

This was my first visit to the Tupelo Honey Cafe and it was wonderful! Everything that was ordered was great! The wait time was minimal and wait staff did a fabulous job explaining all options on the menu. Will definitely be returning!

“Fun, friendly, Foodie's Favorite. Delicious!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 10, 2014

It was rainy outside but warm & friendly inside the cafe. We ordered fried chicken that was delicious.
Moist & tender but not greasy. The biscuits were incredible & the homemade jams made it a special treat. We were too full for dessert but I saw some tasty ones pass our table. We enjoyed the food so much that I purchased a copy of their cook book and a selection of their jams. A highlight of our trip.

“Great Breakfast!”

Ordered the sweet pancake. Out of this world! Gotta try it. Love you honey / jelly as well. You can tell they buy veggies from locals. Very fresh!

“Just OK”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 7, 2014

We used to love Tupelo Honey downtown but they opened a store on US-25 and it is ok, not great. You would be ok here with something simple like breakfast I think but the rest of the menu did not fit my taste, nor my wife's, might be ok with you?

“Southern Cooking with a Flair”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 7, 2014 via mobile

Tupela Honey is a gem. Southern comfort food well prepared with a flair. Green fried tomatoes are common her in Asheville, but TH serves theirs with goat cheese grits that actually steal the show. Any pork dish is very likely to please, while the fried chicken and meatloaf are special. Don't forget TH for breakfast especially the sweet potato pancake (yes one well do it for all but the biggest appetites) along with either the amazing locally sourced bacon or sausage. Yum!
