“Location, Location, Great Food and Service”
Reviewed August 1, 2014

Right in the heart of town, yet a respite from the crowded sidewalks and traffic of a very busy intersection. While there is outside dining, I particularly like the interior dining room. It is quiet and quite elegant with crisp linens, heavy silver, and big city ambience. The menu is varied and changes frequently; Cobb salad was quite delicious and served with warm ciabatta bread. My companion was delighted with a white sangria, and my wine was generously poured. Our waiter was attentive without being intrusive, and we were left to enjoy a pleasant meal while catching up on eachother's news. Service was paced well so that we were not rushed. I will definitely return!

“Perfect dinner in downtown Asheville!”
Reviewed July 31, 2014 via mobile

Loved our dinner at Isa's. We had the grilled peaches & watermelon salad, the duck & the flounder. Everything was prepared wonderfully and our server, Jonathan, was terrific! We will definitely return on a future trip to Asheville!

“Foodie Heaven in the Heart of Downtown!”
Reviewed July 31, 2014

A dear friend and I spent our afternoon at Isa's Bistro sharing an incredible cheese & charcuterie plate, melt-in-your-mouth truffle popcorn, a decadent dessert, and fresh coffee. The experience felt both intimate and indulgent. Isa's has a chic, welcoming atmosphere and a wonderful view of downtown even from inside, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable, unforgettable meal!

“Great downtown restaurant”
Reviewed July 29, 2014

Isa's Bistro is right at the heart of tourist Asheville. You can sit on the patio and watch at least three buskers - from the mountain music group, to the celtic fiddle player, to the statue woman to whatever the night may bring. If you go inside they have big windows to view the street and a great bar if you just want a drink. But you should try the food. Our party of three had the red snapper (great), the trout (really yummy) and the shrimp and pork belly (hubby couldn't be happier). The chef does change the menu frequently - depending on local produce, fresh fish, etc. but the two times I have been there have both been really good. This is one of those great Asheville experiences. Service was a tiny bit slow because they were busy but they brought a free cheese appetizer while we waited, and we were not in a hurry so it worked out fine.

“Excellent meal ”
Reviewed July 28, 2014 via mobile

My husband and I had an evening in Asheville and chose this restaurant for dinner. The setting is relaxing but the food very special. The red snapper was excellent and my husband's double burger he felt the best he had had anywhere. The truffle popcorn for starters was great and the s'mores dessert innovative. Our server Tom was helpful and professional. If we lived locally we would visit regularly.
