“Enjoyable dinner”
Reviewed June 9, 2014

We stayed at the Haywood Park Hotel on a recent trip and decided to give Isa's Bistro a try since it was on the same property. There weren't many other patrons inside the restaurant while we were there but the outside area seemed busy. The wait staff was good but didn't check back very often during the meal. We're not big eaters but the portions seemed to be on the small side. We were not offered their "bread sticks" but saw other tables getting them later. Price was not excessive, it was a good meal - just expected a little more personal attention.

“Good Service”
Reviewed June 3, 2014

We unfortunately didn't have enough time to really enjoy the lovely outdoor area, Our waitress knew we had a time constraint and met it. Food was not only tasty but beautifully presented.

“Another pleasant evening”
Reviewed June 1, 2014

This was another pleasant evening spent dining in downtown Asheville. Restaurant has a trendy almost industrial feeling interior and the tables are well spaced which is always a good sign to us ! Restaurant however was very quiet the evening we visited and by the time we left at a not unreasonable 9.15pm or so, I believe we were the only people left bar a few on the street terrace outside. On a busy night, we thought this restaurant would have a completely different feel, but the vast space it occupied could take a crowd without it feeling over powering.

Service was pleasant but the waitress did not seem too efficient having to recheck our not complicated order several times during our wait to receive our meal. I also recall our wine choice was out of stock but the alternative offered was good.

When the food arrived, it was very good and we enjoyed our meal and our final bill was not excessive for what we ate and drank.

Isa's is a good addition to the Haywood hotel which is directly accessible from the restaurant.

“Pricey”

It was good, but I wasn't sure what was in the side dish and when I asked the waitress she didn't have a clue either.

“Stopped on a whim”
Reviewed May 21, 2014 via mobile

Due to the time of the day, all the restaurants located downtown were closed. We found Isa's and stopped in. We were very pleased. We ordered the special: fried oyster lettuce wrap and off the menu, the turkey club. Both excellent. Thanks for being open when others were closed.
