For some the brewery with seasonal beers may be the attraction, but we come for the food. Wicked Weed pays a lot of attention to the menu and uses local incredients in its food offerings. The food is fresh and creative. We we went for father's day lunch. The hamburger and trout sandwiches are excellent. The calamari appetizer is generous and the chips with french onion dip was just the right size to share without spoiling our appetite.
There is a nice selection of fresh brewed beer as well.

Stopped in on way through North Carolina. Tried lots of the beer and some snack food. Everything was great and reasonably priced. Even walked away with a few bottles , growlers, and t shirts. Def go back and try again.

Wicked Weed has by far the best sour beers. Black Angel Cherry Sour, Genesis Blonde, excellent! Every time we're in Asheville, we make time to go there. We have only had the food offered downstairs, it was good.

A beer lovers dream!!! Probably the most creative selection of brews I've ever encountered & not for the faint at heart!!! Had a sangria blanc & rosemary ginger saison all brewed in a Belgian style.... Soooooo scrumptious!!!! No flights on Saturdays.... Or I would have tried them all!!!

...that I tried in Asheville. (First being Catawba Brewing.) Amazing selection of flowery brews/Belgians/sour beers/hoppy beers. You can't go wrong with this place. The food was outstanding (had the Bison Burger and the Black Bean Burger). Bought a t-shirt, snifter, and growler because we loved the place so much. My favorite beer there was a sour beer (which actually wasn't sour at all) called Divergence (...I think this was the name?). Anyway, it was a Brett porter brewed with a ton of coffee. Hands down the best beer there. The Honey Lavender beer was also very easy to drink and delicious. My husband and I went back to this place three times during our five night stay, just so we could order flights and sample all of the beers we wanted. Don't forget this place on your next trip to Asheville!
