Description: The newest venture from Hector Diaz, Bomba is a small bites, quick service cafe and bar with a European feel. Serving espresso drinks from 1000 Faces, full bar with an extensive liquor list and finely crafted cocktails along with craft beers and wonderful half bottles of wine. Our small plates are a great way to experience the amazing flavors Hector is known for creating at a reasonable price.

“Huge, Delicious Latino Influenced Sandwiches”
Reviewed June 1, 2014

A great place to go to for huge, delicious sandwiches, at incredibly reasonable prices.
One of the best lunch options in Asheville, especially for meat eaters...
Cuban and Latino leaning, really outstanding

“Noodle Joint”

Food was very tasty and served quickly. Great location to eat outside and people watch as the square is very busy.

“Good people watching corner, plain coffee”
Reviewed May 24, 2014 via mobile

This is a prime street corner so the sights are good. However I got a brewed coffee that was nothing great. The beans were 1,000 Faces out of Athens.

“Confusing hours and service”
Reviewed May 12, 2014

Walked to Bomba from our hotel to get breakfast (had heard good things). Internet, sign on restaurant door, etc all said that they open at 9:39am. We went, they WERE open, but said that breakfast would not be ready until "maybe 10:30 or after". We left disappointed.

“Great find for breakfast”
Reviewed April 14, 2014 via mobile

Stopped in her for late breakfast an coffee Sunday morning.

You have to be willing to invest some time and the outside seating flat metal stools may not work for some.

That being said, the food is prepared totally from scratch - one order at a time and it is unbelievable.

Amongst the four of ha we had the Local Burrito, the Simple Burrito, Huevos Rancheros and Empanadas. All were outstanding.

The coffee was good and the staff was friendly and attentive, even when they had a mini rush of customers. I have see this ruin a dining experience for everyone at some restaurants. They took it in stride with someone from their sister restaurant (Salsas) pitching in to make sure everyone was happy.

Highly recommend this spot if you are downtown and want quality, ease, and no hour long waits.
