“Valentine's Evening Dinner”
Reviewed February 16, 2014 via mobile

Awesome is the key word. Even with a preset menu it provided various selections to create a delicious dinner. Our server was excellent, friendly, attentive at just the right touch. Food was exceptional and perfect proportion. Definitely recommend if you are a guest at The Grove Park Inn or just visiting for the day.

Valentines menu was fixed but all the selections were excellent. Portions were perfect to allow room for the dessert. Great experience.

“Excellent Experience”
Reviewed February 8, 2014

We called just a few hours ahead of time to make a reservation. Our server greeted us promptly and got our drinks all squared away. We ordered an appetizer. You have to try the Brie cheese appetizer! The fig preserve that was served with it was so good! Everyone on their staff was great. Every so often a new face would stop by and ask if we were enjoying everything. (No, not an annoyance) It was refreshing to see how may employees were interested in our opinion. They all highly recommend the bread pudding for dessert! It was delicious and apparently made with a different bread each day. It was a nice way to start our vacation. Too bad it was already dark outside. There wasn't a view because of the lights reflecting off of the glass, but I'm sure during the day it's beautiful.

“New life for an old friend”
Reviewed January 31, 2014 via mobile

My husband and I have stayed at the Grove Park Inn every year for six years. We usually enjoyed meals at the previous high-end restaurant, Horizons. With the new owners came the new Vue, which we agreed was outstanding. Great wine list, more accessible menu, slightly more casual surroundings (Horizons was coat and tie). While a couple standards are missed - no more lobster bisque - I can easily say that our first experience at Vue was much better than our last experience at Horizons. We will certainly be back.

A quick shout out to our server Shaughn and Paul, the manager. The were both a great help and so nice to talk to.
