I looked at the reviews from people who said the enclosures are "overgrown." I'm so happy they are overgrown because it gives the animals shade and cover. Sure, you have to look for them, but that's a good thing. If you were out on a hike looking around, this is how you would see the animals, and I'm sure having cover between them and humans is less stressful for the animals, too. That said, there have been improvements since we first visited in 1998 when my son was still in a stroller. We still love the petting zoo and all the staff we saw were friendly. The river otters are always a treat. Thanks for more nice memories.
