“Fresh veggies and fruits and great jams”

this is a great place to stop and pick up some things that you could eat raw or cook. they have a wide variety of local produce and some neat homemade items such as jams. Not too many tourists here.

“Great Selection of Local Produce”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 6, 2013

I had visited this place on another trip with a group and wanted my husband to check it out. We met some of the local folks and really enjoyed visiting with them along with purchasing some of the best honey, butter and apples. Linda Teague at Teague's Country Corner gave us samples and also assisted with special wrapping so I could get my Amish butter home without melting. They even do mail orders. yeah!! You really need to check this out if in the area.

“Interesting place to buy fresh produce etc”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 5, 2013

If you are looking for good local produce it is THE place to go but it also has crafts, cheese, jelly and jams, baskets etc. It has a great deal of established booths that you can find wonderful honey in all kinds of flavors, boiled peanuts, amish butter and other fun things to buy. Then in the back they have the wholesale area of in season produce.....a great place to purchase the best of what is growing in the mountains etc.

“Good Value”

The farmers market has a wide variety of produce as well as jelly and jam, but the best is the fresh baked Sour Dough Bread. We had a hard time making it home with a loaf intact.

5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 19, 2013

We love visiting this farmers Market every time we go to Ashevill- sometimes driving all the way from Greensboro jsut for the market. The diversity of local produce as well as crafts is just plain fun. Toe Jam and Trafic Jam Jellies were great fun and tasted great too- a real adventure
