I’ve stayed at several hotels in Asheville over the course of more than 30 years. I usually travel there about twice a year. The Inn is wonderful IF your main purpose of being in Asheville is to immerse yourself in the Biltmore estate experience. The restaurants are good, but better ones can be found off site. IF your goal is to see all that Asheville has to offer, I’d recommend The Haywood, the Grove Park Inn or the Indigo. They’re all closer to the heart of Asheville,

The room we stayed in was a suite and it was clean, maid service was prompt and everything worked. The shops in the Inn are nice and the staff is friendly and helpful.

I was disappointed that the winery had a Christmas tree up and decorated on October 17th. A tad early.

Again, if the Biltmore Estate is your main travel destination, this is the place to stay. If not, there are better and less expensive options off the estate.

You will love their service and the little extras, but staying there is very expensive. We spent five days there. Regular room is average size. Hotel is beautiful inside and out--Lobby gets lots of natural light and is attractively furnished, opens out onto a lovely terrace that looks out on the mountains. Terrace had a couple of happy hours of free wine and appetizers for guests. Great swimming pool and spa. Staff is so well-trained that you feel like you have known them for a long time: friendly, genuine, helpful. Location is great---if you plan to use the Biltmore estate for any activities, including tours, you will get priority as a hotel guest.

I recommend this lovely hotel over the Village Hotel that is just down the hill.

Room tip: All rooms are sufficiently insulated. You will get a good night's rest.

The staff was nice and attentive for the most part. The food from room service was ok. We paid a lot but breakfast and the house tour were extra. The bed and pillows were not at all comfortable and neither my husband or I slept well. Than, when I dropped a hair clip and went behind the nightstand to pick it up, there was a pair of panties back there!! I did complain to the staff about that. It was a nice room with a nice view. The shower was the best part of the whole room. It just was not worth what they charge.

Not only the welcome but the location, views, ambiance, people, everything made this a most memorable trip. Our room was exceptional, the concierge room, wine, etc. was sublime. Breakfast in the dining room was "to die for".

Very laid back place! We had great weekend. Food was good at the restaurant and they provided shuttles over to the Estate for the tour and wine tasting. It is a pricey place to stay for sure, but if you are willing to splurge it is very nice.
